Mandy Stewart

Regional Care Director - North

Mandy,

Regional Care Director for our north region.

As the Regional Care Director for the north, I am responsible for all types of care delivery to

our customers - whether it be live-in care or our hourly service. My role involves ensuring that

our carers deliver a consistent and seamless high quality of care to our customers. I manage a

team of dedicated, hardworking people who strive to deliver a fantast ic service.

Following a highly successful career in welfare to work, recruitment and training, I wanted to

look at a f resh challenge, and following some research and numerous conversat ions ,I believed

that the care sector would be a good f it and that I could easily transfer my skills and

experience into this role.

I joined Helping Hands in February 2020 following over 20 years working in welfare to work,

t raining and recruitment. Since coming to Helping Hands, I have found I have been able to

not only ut ilise my operat ional experience in terms of management but also embrace a world

of new opportunity.

Helping Hands' reputat ion was already strong and I love the history of the company - f rom

Mary Lee at her kitchen table and the journey the company has been on to the present day.

I am also excited to be able to develop both myself and my team further, something that is

really encouraged within the business and f its with our commitment to cont inuous

improvement.

I also have a fantast ic team to work with; full of enthusiast ic, committed people who truly

care about our service. I am truly humbled on a daily basis with the fabulous work that goes

on in our service and I love hearing f rom both customers and carers alike.
