    Anti condensation NonDrip coating

    Acoustic panels

    Proled sheeting can be perorated to

    damp noise. Lindab acoustic panels

    are suitable or interior partitions and

    roos where they are used in sports

    halls, actories and canteens. Whilst

    the wall panels are ully perorated, the

    foor deck are only perorated on the

    web in order to maintain the required

    strength.

    The peroration ratio is 23% in the

    perorated area or all proles.

    Only minor variations in the absor-

    bation actor occur when diering pro-

    le lenghts and/or plastic oil is used,

    only give minor variations in absorption

    actor.

    Condensation occurs naturally on

    proled sheet roos and walls in un-

    insulated buildings when the tempera-

    ture o the sheeting alls below the dew

    point. The biggest problems occur when

    the weather changes warm damp air

    meets sheeting which covered andcooled by snow. Radiation condensation

    is oten enough (i.e. when the sheeting

    becomes cooler than the surrounding air

    as a result o radiation under cloudless

    conditions) or water to start dripping. I

    this condensation does orm, drops o

    water will run under the roo and along

    the walls. This water dripping o the roo

    and wall joists can cause considerable

    damage to the contents o the building.

    Proled sheeting can be coated with

    Lindab NonDrip to reduce the problem.

    NonDrip contains a mineral which can

    quickly absorb and evaporate moisture.

    The coating can absorb up to 300 g wa-

    ter per m2. NonDrip can also retain water

    on inclined or vertical suraces.

    NonDrip sheeting is always supplied with

    masked sides and end overlaps, to pre-

    vent water rom being absorbed rom

    outside the building.

    It is important to observe the standards

    or dimensioning and location o ventila-

    The light grey NonDrip coating is able to absorb

    and evaporate moisture quickly and efciently

    thanks to its unique pore structure.

    Evaporation is requently quicker than absorption

    with NonDrip coatings.

    8 to avoid stationary air which would

    impede drying. A constant supply o

    moisture rom an earth foor or activities

    in the building can also aect the drying

    process.

    Warning! I drying is prevented,

    the NonDrip becomes saturated
