Why a Mobile App?
• healthfinder.gov’s content syndication and API allow developers to use its easy-to-read, actionable, and accurate information on websites, blogs, etc.
• Goal: Make healthfinder.gov content • Customizable • Integrated with other relevant content/data • easy to use, reaching the users where they are
The Challenge • Phase 1:
• Developers will submit working app prototypes, along with documentation and evidence of public feedback and funding support via Health Tech Hatch
• At the end of Phase I, the top three applicants will be awarded $10,000 each and move on to
• Phase 2: • Phase I winners will fully develop their apps and
compete for $50,000 grand prize

How to Enter
1) Register at Health 2.0 www.health2con.com
2) Log in to Health Tech Hatch to submit your app for feedback
3) Submit the following to Health 2.0: • Slide presentation with narrative • Evidence of co-design • 5-minute video demo
Important Dates
January 25 Health Tech Hatch closes for submissions
February 1 Deadline for Submissions to Phase I
March 8, 2013 Deadline for Submissions to Phase II
What’s in it for you?
• $10,000 to three Phase 1 winners
