HealthandSafetyPolicyItisthepolicyofWCGEnvironmentalLtdthatitsoperationsshallbecarriedoutwiththegreatestregardforthehealthandsafetyofallworkers.Managementbelievesthatsafetyandefficientworkingpracticesgohand-in-hand.Everyeffortwillbemadetopreventinjurytoouremployeesbytakingallpossiblestepstoimproveworkingconditionsandpractices.Inordertoensurethesafetyofourworkers,thecompanyhasdevelopedthishealthandsafetyprogrammanualwithcompanypoliciesandproceduresthateveryonemustfollowatalltimes.Toenforcetheseprocedures,managementwillmakeroutinechecksoftheworksite.WCGEnvironmentalLtdfunctionsinfullconformitywithallsafetylaws,regulations,codesandstandardsapplyingtooperationstoensurethesafetyandprotectionofallthoseworkinginouroperations.Allworkersarealsoexpectedtocomplywiththelawandcompanyjobrequirements.Ourincidentpreventionprogrammusthavetheco-operativeeffortsofboththeworkersandmanagementinordertobesuccessful.Everyonemusthelprecognizeandeliminatehazardsastheyarefound.Withthedailycommitmentandsupportofeverybody,wecanworktogetherasateamtoreducejobhazardsandmaintainanefficientandsafeoperation.

Legislation1a THEHEALTHANDSAFETYATWORKACT1974-GENERALDUTIESOF

EMPLOYERSANDEMPLOYEES1a.1 Thehealth,safetyandwelfareofemployeesisprotectedbylawandcompanies

haveadutytoprotectitsemployeesandtokeeptheminformedabouthealthandsafety.

1a.2 Employeeshavearesponsibilitytolookafterthemselvesandothers.1a.3 Acompanyhasadutyunderthelawtoensure,sofarasisreasonably

practicable,health,safetyandwelfareatworkby:makingtheworkplacesafeandwithoutrisktohealth;keepingdust,fumesandnoiseundercontrol;ensuringplantandmachineryaresafeandthatsafesystemsofworkaresetandfollowed;ensuringarticlesandsubstancesaremoved,storedandusedsafely;




providingadequatewelfarefacilities;givingitsemployeestheinformation,instruction,trainingandsupervisionnecessaryhealthandsafety.Italsohasadutyto:drawupahealthandsafetypolicystatementandbringittoitsemployees

attention;providefree,anyprotectiveequipmentspecificallyrequiredunderhealthandsafetylegislation;reportcertaininjuries,diseasesanddangerousoccurrencestotheenforcingauthority;provideadequatefirstaidfacilities;consultastaffsafetyrepresentative;setupasafetycommitteeifaskedinwritingbytwoormoresafetyrepresentatives;takecertainprecautionsagainstfire,provideadequatemeansofescapeandmeansforfightingfire.

1a.4 AnemployeehaslegaldutiesundertheAct,including:

takingreasonablecarefortheirownhealthandsafetyandthatofanyotherpersonwhomaybeaffectedbytheiractsoromissions;co-operatingwiththecompanyonhealthandsafety;notinterferingwithormisusing,anythingprovidedfortheirhealth,safetyorwelfare.

1a.5 Employeesarealsoresponsiblefor:makingthemselvesfamiliarwith,andconformingwith,anyStatementofPolicy,RegulationorCodeofPracticeinforcefromtimetotime;reportinganyaccident,dangerousoccurrenceorhazard,whetherornotphysicalinjuryhasresulted;usingtheappropriateprotectiveequipmentatalltimes,andensuringthatanysuchequipmentismaintainedinareasonablecondition;abidingbyanyControlofSubstancesHazardoustoHealth(COSHH)assessmentsandrequirements;ensuringthatanyemployeesundertheirsupervisionconductthemselvesinaccordancewithanyrelevantCOSHHassessmentsorothersafetyregulation;




MANAGEMENTOFHEALTHANDSAFETYATWORKREGULATIONS19921b.1 Theseregulationsfurtheraddtotheresponsibilitiesofbothemployer,employeeandothers.1b.2 Theyaredifferentinthattheyintroducetheuseof‘riskassessment’asameans

ofdealingwith‘risks’and‘hazardsintheworkplace.Aswiththe‘HealthandSafetyatWorkAct’,employers,employeesandothershavespecificresponsibilitiesasfollows:Employers:RiskAssessment(includingself-employedpersons).

ResponsibilitiesManagersandemployeeseachhavespecificresponsibilities,whicharedescribedinthissection.Fulfillingtheseresponsibilitiesisagoodwaytoestablishduediligence.ManagersManagersareresponsibleforthefollowing:

• Beawareofallsafetyconsiderationswhenintroducinganewprocess,procedure,machine,ormaterialtotheworkplace.

• Providesafetytrainingtoemployeesbeforeassigningduties.Haveemployeessign-offonthetraining.

• Enforceallcompanysafetyrulesconsistentlyandfairly.

• Givemaximumsupporttoprogramsthatpromotehealthandsafety.

• ReviewallaccidentsandcompleteIncidentInvestigationReports,whenrequired,toensurethatdocumentationrequirementsarefulfilledandappropriateactionistakentopreventrecurrence.

• Reportwork-relatedincidents,whenrequired,bycompletingtheappropriateincidentandaccidentform

• Seethatallinjuries,evenminorones,aretreatedimmediatelyandreferredtoamedicalfacility,ifnecessary.

• Inspectworkareasoftentodetectunsafeconditionsandworkpractices.

• Conductregularhealthandsafetymeetingsandinspections.

• Eliminateorminimizeriskstoemployeesbyimplementingcontrolmeasures,trainingandeducatingstaff,andevaluatingcontrolsforeffectiveness.

• Consultwithstaffmemberswhenidentifyingrisksassociatedwithergonomics(strainsandsprains).

• Ensurethatallemployeesarefitforduty.Anemployeemustnotbeassignedtoactivitieswhereareportedorobservedimpairmentmaycreateunduerisktotheemployeeoranyoneelse.Considertheeffectsofalcohol,prescriptionandnon-prescriptiondrugs,andfatigueaspotentialsourcesofimpairment.




EmployeesAtWCGEnvironmentalLtdweconsiderahealthyandsafeworkplacetobeofmajorimportance.Weknowthatwhenouremployeesarehealthyandhappy,soareourguests.Bypracticingsafeworkprocedures,keepingfit,andworkingtowardpreventingaccidents,wecaninturnimprovemorale,reducepainandsuffering,andbuildprideinourworkplace.Employeesareresponsibleforthefollowing:

• Neverknowinglyputyourselforothersatrisk.

• Participateininspectionsandinvestigationswhereapplicable.

• Workwithcareandattentionatalltimes.

• Wearprotectiveequipmentasneededorrequired.

• Donotoperateanymachineryorequipmentwithoutreceivingtheproperinstructions.

• Alwaysreportallinjuriesorsymptoms,nomatterhowminor,immediatelytoyourmanagersothattheycanworkwithyoutowardsprevention.

• Encouragecoworkerstoworksafely.

• Reportanyunsafeactsorconditionstoyourmanagerandwhereverpossibleremedythoseconditionstoensurethatnoonegetshurt.

• Alwayscheckthatguards,andsafetydevicesonequipmentareusedasinstructed.

• Maintainequipmentingood,safeworkingorder.

• Adheretoallsafetyrulesandregulations.

• Ifintheunfortunateeventyoudogethurt,itisveryimportantthatyouworkwithyourdoctor,andyourmanagementteamtowardsaspeedyrecovery.

• Everyemployeehasanobligationtomeettheattendancerequirementsofthejob.Whenanemployeeshowsextraordinarilylongabsences,therestoftheteamcanbeplacedinacompromisingpositionandconditionscouldbecomeunsafe.Takewhateverstepsarenecessarytoimproveyourhealthandattendance.

• Assistinthecreationofasafeworkenvironmentbyrecommendingactionsthatwillimprovetheeffectivenessofthehealthandsafetyprogram.




Training,Education,andSupervisionSafetyTrainingPolicyItisourpolicytoensurethatemployeetrainingisprovidedtoenhanceemployeesafetyandmeetregulatorytrainingrequirements.

TrainingProgramRequirementsGoodbusinesspracticeandsafetyrequirementsdictatethateachemployeereceivessafetytraining:

• Attheinitialinduction

• Whenemployeesreceiveachangeinjobtaskornewresponsibilitiesrequiringnewinduction

• Whenemployeesareexposedtonewsubstances,processes,procedures,orequipment

• Wheneveranewhazardisidentified

Safetytrainingbringsnewideasintotheworkplaceorre-establishesdesiredmethodsforachievingsaferworkpractices.Italsoallowsmanagerstoreviewtheotherelementsofthesafetyprogramwithemployeesandensurethattheyareputintoactiononadailybasis.

ManagerResponsibilities• Managersareexpectedtotrainemployeesintheproperuseofequipmentandsafemethodsofperformingtheirjobs.

• Periodically,managerswillreceivemanagementtraining.Generalsafetyorientationwillbeprovidedaspartofnewemployeeorientationprocess.

• Itistheresponsibilityofmanagerstoensurethateveryemployeehasbeenorientedinsafetymattersandagrees,inwriting,toabidebyallrules.

• Managersarerequiredtotakethetimetoreviewthewrittensafetyruleswitheverynewemployee.

SafeWorkPracticesAllemployeesmustbetrainedinsafeworkpractices.Thefollowingareasmustbecovered:

• Newemployeesafetyinduction

• Generalsafetyrules

• Safeworkpracticesandrisksforspecificareas

• Howtoreportworkplacehazardsandaccidents

• Firstaidproceduresandreporting




Asnewpracticesandproceduresevolve,managementisresponsibleforprovidingemployeeswithfurthertrainingtocontinuallypromotesafetyandawareness.HealthandSafetyOrientationManagersorsupervisorsarerequiredtoprovidesafetyorientationtonewemployeesorexistingemployeeswhoaremovingtoanewpositionoranewworksite.Safetyorientationmayincludethefollowing:

• Inductionanddiscussionofthecompany’shealthandsafetyphilosophyandemployeesafetyresponsibilities

• Discussionanddistributionofthehealthandsafetyemployeetrainingmaterialandissuesincluded

• Discussionaboutsafetypoliciesastheyrelatetotheemployee’sworksetting

• Procedurestofollowwhenworkingalone

• Reviewofreportingproceduresforwork-relatedinjuriesandaccidents

• Reviewofemergencyproceduresforreportingaccidentsandgainingmedicaltreatment

• Documentationoftraining

• Communicaterisksassociatedwithinjuriespotentiallyarisingoutofviolenceintheworkplace

• Communicatetheriskfactorsassociatedwithinjuriespotentiallyarisingoutofthephysicaldemandsofthejob

• Reviewevacuationproceduresincaseofafireoranemergency

EmployeeSafetyTrainingManagersareresponsibleforensuringthatemployeeswhoreporttothemunderstandthefollowing:

• Anemployeewillnotundertakeajobbeforereceivinginstructionsonhowtoperformitproperlyorbeforebeingauthorizedtoperformthejob.Iftheemployeehasanydoubt,heorsheshouldimmediatelycontactamanager.

• Safetyrulesareaconditionofemploymentandmustbeadheredtobyeachemployee.Ruleinfractionswillresultindisciplinaryaction.

• Mechanicalsafeguards(forexample,theslicerguard)providedmustbekeptinplaceatalltimes.Onlyauthorizedpersonnelaretoremoveguardsformaintenance,repairsandcleaning.

• Employeesmustreportwork-relatedinjuriesorillnesses,evenslightones,toamanagerorsupervisoratonce.Allmajorincidentsaretobereviewedbythedirector.




• Unsafeworkingconditionsencounteredmustbereportedbytheemployeetothemanager.Ifunresolved,theseunsafeconditionsshouldthenbereportedtoanowner-operator.

• Safetytrainingwillbeprovidedtoemployeesaspartoftheirworkactivitiesanddocumented.

• Informationandproceduresrelatedtopotentialrisksofviolenceintheworkplace,includingthethreatofrobbery,workingalone,andabusiveguests.

• Evacuationproceduresincaseofemergency.

• Theriskfactorsassociatedwithstrainsandsprainsrelatedtothephysicaldemandsofthejob.Controlstopreventstrainsandsprainshavebeendevelopedandarepracticed.

• Allemployeesareobligatedtomeettheattendanceexpectationsofthejob.

• Ifanemployeedoesgetinjured,thentheemployee,doctor,andmanagementteamneedtoworktogethertowardsafullandhealthyreturntowork.

SupervisionAccordingtotheRegulations,supervisorsareresponsibleforensuringthehealthandsafetyofanyworkersundertheirsupervision.Thismeansensuringthatallemployeescontinueto:

• Followsafeworkpractices

• UsePPEandothersafetyequipmentaccordingtotheirtraining

• Reportunsafepracticesandconditionsintheworkplace

HazardIdentificationandRiskControlWCGEnvironmentalLtdbelieveaccidentsarepreventable,aslongasyoutakeaproactiveapproachtohealthandsafety.Byimplementingasystemofhazardidentificationandriskcontrol,wecanpreventworkplaceinjuriesanddiseases.Therearethreebasicsteps.

1. IdentifyHazardsConsidereveryareaofyourworkplacewhenlookingforhazards.Thinkaboutconditionsorworkactivitiesthatcouldputyouremployeesorguestsatrisk.Askyourstaffiftheyhaveanyspecifichealthandsafetyconcerns.2.AssesstheRisksOnceyouhaveidentifiedahazard,evaluatetherisksassociatedwithit.Therearetwobasicquestionstoaskwhenconsideringahazard:howlikelyisanincident,andhow




seriouswoulditbeifitoccurred?Ariskassessmentwillhelpyouprioritizethehazardssoyouknowwhichonestodealwithfirst.3.ControltheRisksOnceyou’veidentifiedhazardsandassessedtherisks,lookforwaystocontrolthem.Thebasictypesofcontrolsareeliminationorsubstitution,engineeringcontrols,administrativecontrols,andpersonalprotectiveequipment.

EliminationorSubstitutionWheneverpossible,eliminatethehazardsothere’snoriskofinjury.Askthefollowing:

• Isthetasknecessarytobeginwith?

• Canthehazardouspartofthetaskberemoved?

• Canthetaskbedoneinsuchawaythatnoworkersareexposedtothehazard?

Ifyoucan’teliminatethehazard,substituteasafermaterialorprocess.Askthefollowing:

• Canadifferentmachineortoolbeused?

• Canalesshazardousmaterialorchemicalbeused?

• Willalternativepracticesreduceexposuretothehazard?

EngineeringControlsEngineeringcontrolsarephysicalchangestothewaytasksaredone—forexample,re-designingworkstationsormodifyingequipmenttomakeitsaferormoreergonomic.

AdministrativeControlsAdministrativecontrolsarechangestothewayworkisorganizedandperformed.Thiscanincludeplanning,organizing,andschedulingofresourcesandstaffing.Safeworkpracticesandproceduresareanimportantformofadministrativecontrol.

PersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)PPEprovidesprotectionagainsthazards.Itshouldbeusedwhenothersafetycontrolsarenotpractical,orinadditiontoothercontrols.Forexample,tohelppreventslips,trips,andfalls,makesureyouremployeeswearslip-resistantfootwear.




HealthSurveillanceTheprovisionofhealthsurveillanceisalegalrequirementundervarioushealthandsafetylegislationsuchastheManagementofHealthandSafetyatWork(1999),ControlofNoiseatWork(2005)RegulationsandtheControlofSubstancesHazardoustoHealth(2002)Regulations.Theprovisionofhealthsurveillancewillalsohelptoensurethatemployees’healthisnotadverselyaffectedbytheworktheyundertake.POLICYSTATEMENTAllemployeeswillbesubjecttoappropriatehealthsurveillancehavingregardtothehealthandsafetyrisksoftheirwork,identifiedthroughtheriskassessmentprocess.Theemployeecompletesaquestionnaireaspartoftheirinductionwiththeirmanagerandthenannuallytodetermineiftherehavebeenanychangestotheemployees’health.In-betweenthequestionnairesemployeesareencouragedthroughdiscussionwiththeirmanagerstoletthecompanyknowiftherehavebeenanychangestotheirhealth.Thisisreiteratedduringregulartoolboxtalksonhealthawareness,onsiteinductions,discussionsregardingmethodandriskassessmentsandinformationthatischangedregularlyontheHealthandSafetyBulletinBoard.ItistheresponsibilityoftheHealthandSafetyManagertoensurethathealthsurveillanceisregularlyconducted,thereareregulardiscussionsonhealthissuesandthereisregularhealthawarenesstraining.Employeeshavearesponsibilitytocooperatewiththecompanywithhealthandsafetymeasuresputinplacefortheirprotection.Theprimarybenefitandobjectiveofhealthsurveillanceistodetectanyadversehealtheffectsatanearlystage,therebyallowingfurtherharmtobeprevented.Theresultsofhealthsurveillancecanalsoprovideameansof:

• Ensuringtheeffectivenessofcontrolmeasures;

• Providingfeedbackontheaccuracyoftheriskassessment;and

• Identifyingandprotectingindividualsatincreasedriskbecauseofthenatureoftheirwork.

Theremaybeastatutoryrequirementtoprovidehealthsurveillance(asindicatedbyriskassessment)iftheemployeeisrequiredtoworkwithanyofthefollowingagents:

• Noiseorhandarmvibrations;

• Hazardoussubstancessuchaschemicals,solvents,fumes,dusts,biologicalagents,gasesandvapours;




• Asbestos;

• Lead;and,

• Workincompressedair.

Wheretheemployeeworkswithanyoftheabove,theneedforhealthsurveillance(ornot)shouldbeaddressedthroughtherequiredriskassessmentprocess.FurtherdetailsareprovidedinthespecificUniversitypoliciescoveringtheseissues.Thegeneralprincipletobeadoptedforhealthsurveillanceisaprecautionaryone.Inadditiontothestatutoryrequirement,healthsurveillancewillalsobeappropriatewheretheriskassessmentidentifiesthefollowingcriteriatoapply:

• Thereisanidentifiablediseaseorotheridentifiableadversehealthoutcome;

• Thediseaseorhealtheffectmayberelatedtoexposure;

• Thereisareasonablelikelihoodthatthediseaseorhealtheffectmayoccur;

• Therearevalidtechniquesfordetectingindicationsofthediseaseorhealtheffects.

• Postanupdatedlistoffirstaidattendantsontheemployeebulletinboard.




• Alwaysnotifyafirstaidattendantifanemployeeoraguestrequiresfirstaid.

• Recordallinjuriesinthefirstaidrecordbook.

• Afullystockedfirstaidkitmustbereadilyavailabletoallemployees.

• Allstaffmembersmustknowwhattodoincaseofemergency.

• Maintainaccurate,currentfirstaidtreatmentrecordsthatcanbeusedathealthandsafetymeetingstoinvestigateincidentsandtrends.

ProvisionandUseofWorkEquipmentRegulations1998(PUWER)TheseRegulations,oftenabbreviatedtoPUWER,placedutiesonpeopleandcompanieswhoown,operateorhavecontroloverworkequipment.PUWERalsoplacesresponsibilitiesonbusinessesandorganisationswhoseemployeesuseworkequipment,whetherownedbythemornot.PUWERrequiresthatequipmentprovidedforuseatworkis:

• suitablefortheintendeduse

• safeforuse,maintainedinasafeconditionandinspectedtoensureitiscorrectlyinstalledanddoesnotsubsequentlydeteriorate

• usedonlybypeoplewhohavereceivedadequateinformation,instructionandtraining

• accompaniedbysuitablehealthandsafetymeasures,suchasprotectivedevicesandcontrols.Thesewillnormallyincludeemergencystopdevices,adequatemeansofisolationfromsourcesofenergy,clearlyvisiblemarkingsandwarningdevices

• usedinaccordancewithspecificrequirements,formobileworkequipmentandpowerpresses

ResponsibilitiesVehiclesTheownerofthecompanyandtransportmanagerisresponsibleforensuringthatallvehiclesarecheckeddailyandanydefectsarenotedandfixedassoonaspracticallypossible.Furthermorethetransportmanagerisresponsibleforensuringthatallvehiclesareservicedregularlyeitherannuallyoratacertainmileageasoutlinedbythemanufacturer.InadditionthattheHGV’sarecheckedeverysixweeksasisthepolicyofWasteclean.




PlantItistheresponsibilityoftheOperationsManagertoensurethatallplantischeckedpriortouse,theyaremaintainedandareingoodworkingorder.HandToolsItistheresponsibilityoftheOperationsManagertoensurethathandtoolsarecheckedpriortouse,theyaremaintainedandingoodworkingorder.ConfinedSpaceEntryEquipmentAllconfinedspaceentryequipmentisdetailedonaspreadsheetandthisisheldelectronicallybytheHealthandSafetyManagerandacopyisalwaysonthepinboardintheOperationsOffice.Theindividualequipmentistaggedwiththedateofitslastcalibrationandthedateitsnextcalibrationisdue.ItistheresponsibilityoftheHealthandSafetyManagertoensurethatallconfinedspaceequipmentismaintainedaccordinglyandisworkable.OfficeEquipmentItistheresponsibilityoftheownerofthecompanytoensurethatallofficeequipmentisfitforuseandisingoodworkingorder.WithregardstoDisplayScreenEquipment,anassessmentofeachworkstationisconductedannuallyoraftermajorchangesinequipment,furniture,workenvironmentorsoftwareorauserchangeworkstationsorthenatureofworktaskschangeconsiderably.

ControlofSubstancesHazardoustoHealthCOSHHAllworkplacesthatusematerialsidentifiedashazardousbytheControlofSubstancesHazardoustoHealth(COSHH)mustfollowCOSHHrequirements.Thesystemusesconsistentlabellingtohelpworkersrecognizehazardousmaterials,whicharereferredtoascontrolledsubstancesunderCOSHH.Thesystemandlabelsprovidespecificinformationonhandling,storing,anddisposingofcontrolledproducts.Requirements• TokeeparegularinventoryofcontrolledproductsandthecorrespondingSafetyDataSheets.

• Uselabelstocommunicatetoyouremployeesthehazardsassociatedwithcontrolledproducts.

1. Introduction

1.1 TheElectricityatWorkRegulations1989cameintoforceon1stApril1990.TheRegulationsaremadeundertheHealth&SafetyatWorkAct1974andrequireprecautionstobetakentopreventdeathorpersonalinjuryfromelectricityinworkactivities.TheRegulationsimposeresponsibilitiesontheemployerandemployeestoconformwiththeseregulationsineveryrespect.Thetestingofelectricalequipmentisaninherentpartofcompliancewiththeseregulations,therefore,theInstituteofElectricalEngineers(I.E.E.)haveissuedaCodeofPracticeforin-serviceinspectionandtestingofElectricalEquipment(calledtheI.E.E.CodeofPractice).2. StatementofIntent

2.1 WCGEnvironmentalLtdshalltakeallreasonablestepstoensurethatallportableappliancesaretestedinaccordancewiththerelevantI.E.E.CodeofPractice.3. DefinitionofPortableAppliances3.1 Onlyequipmentfittedwithaplug,ratedbetween110and500voltsac,andallowingdisconnectionfromtheelectricalsupplywithouttheuseofatool,willfallwithinthescopeofthisPortableApplianceTestingpolicy.4. Responsibilityfortesting4.1 TheHealthandSafetyManager;4.1.1 BeresponsibleforensuringthatallportableelectricalappliancesinthedepotandvehiclesareexaminedandtestedinaccordancewiththeRegulationsandwithdrawnfromuseiffoundtobeunsafe.4.1.2 Ensurethattheriskstopersonnelareassessedandrecordsofinspectionsandtestsaremaintained.5. DutiesofEmployees5.1 WCGEnvironmentalLtdundertakestoinformallstaffoftheirdutiesundertheRegulationsandprovideappropriatetrainingwhererequired.Itisthedutyofallemployeeswhouseanyelectricalequipmenttoensurethatitisfreefromanyvisibledamageandsupportsavalidtestlabel.Whereanyvisibledamageispresentthentheequipmentmustbetakenoutofuseuntilinspectedbyacompetentpersonandanydefectswhichmaybedangerousrectified.Iftheequipmentdoesnothaveavalidtestlabelthentheemployeeshallinformher/hislinemanagerwhowillthencontacttherelevanttestingsection.5.2 Employeeswishingtobringtheirownequipmenttositemustfirstinformtheirlinemanagerandmakearrangementstohavethatequipmenttested(ifitdoesnotalreadycarryavalidcertificateofinspection).Arecordoftheappliancemustbemadeanditmustbeidentifiedaspersonalequipment.Shouldtheequipmentbefaultythenitshallberemovedfromthedepot.




5.3 Anybreachofthesedutiesbyamemberofstaffmayleadtodisciplinaryaction.6. DutiesofVisitors6.1 Equipmentbelongingtoandusedbypersonsvisitingthedepotmustbeinanelectricallysafecondition.WCGEnvironmentalLtdreservestherighttoprohibittheuseofanyelectricalequipmentbroughtintothedepotbyavisitorwhichdoesnotappeartomeetthisrequirement.7. DutiesofContractors7.1 EquipmentbelongingtoandusedbycontractorsofWCGEnvironmentalLtdmusthaveavalidtestcertificateorlabelattachedwhichisavailableforinspectionuponrequestbyanyWCGEnvironmentalLtdemployee.Iftheequipmentdoesnotpossessrelevantsafetydocumentationitwillnotbeallowedintothedepot.8. DutiesofEmployee8.1 TheOperationsManagerwillensurethatemployeeswishingtobringtheirownelectricalequipmentintothedepotareawarethatanyelectricalappliancetheybringontothepremisesmustconformtocurrentsafetystandards,andismaintainedinsuchaconditionsoastopreventdangertothemselvesorothers,ordamagetoWCGEnvironmentalLtdproperty.
