    Guideline Health and Safety Policy

    JANUARY 2010

    All businesses/organisations with five or more employees are required to provide a written document

    detailing its general policy for health and safety and the organisation and arrangements for carrying out the

    policy. mployees should !now about the policy and be aware of their own responsibilities.

    "he responsibility rests with the employer for ensuring that all Health and Safety Acts and #egulations are

    complied with and that any written documentation produce is suitable and sufficient.

    This is the Health and Safety Policy Statement of

    systems of wor!s in our wor!place. $t is also our policy to provide adequate control of the health and safety

    provide such information) training) and supervision) as is need for this purpose. +e also ac!nowledge

    responsibility for the health and safety for other people who may be affected by our wor! and activities.

    $t is also our policy is to consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety) and it is our

    policy to prevent accidents and cases of wor!,related ill health.

    visitors. $t is also necessary to identify groups of employees who may be particularly at ris!) such as young

    or ine4perienced employees) new and e4pectant mothers) out of hours activities) home wor!ers) those who

    wor! alone and disabled staff.
