HE PORTLAND EAST FACILITY supports a

growing demand for multi-temperature distribution

warehousing in the greater Portland metropolitan

marketplace. This facility is located in the Portland

suburb of Gresham, less than one mile from

Henningsen’s Portland West operation. This facility is

designed specifically for high-volume throughput — a

flexible racking design and layout enables Henningsen

to meet a variety of customer requirements, including

case-pick consolidation and cross docking of temperature-controlled food products. Henningsen

Transportation Services augments the operation by offering local, regional and nationwide

transportation services to manufacturers, retail and food service distributors, and international

customers utilizing the facility. Portland East utilizes the latest technology, including WMS systems,

lighting, refrigeration controls, and material handling equipment, making it one of the most efficient

distribution operations in the industry.
