System monitoringTo monitor important featuressuch as temperature, pressure,air quality etc., it is possible toinstall an assortment of sensorsto the container. A continuousmonitoring system can beinstalled to your specific requirement and standards.The system can be monitored insitu or attached to the maincomputer system whichensures a regular and safe wayto monitor air flow etc.

Gas detectorsWhen storing dangeroussubstances, inappropriate usecan result in severe healthproblems, as well as dangerousenvironmental damage. Ifpoisonous gases are allowed toescape then early detection isa vital requirement. DENIOScan provide gas warning detec-tors where a pre-set level canbe set and when reached an audi-ble or visual alarm or both will occur.

Leakage SensorLeakage sensors can beinstalled in sumps to detect anyleakage from containercontents. The alarm can beaudible, visual or both. Earlydetection allows prompt actionto be taken.

Temperature regulatorsWhen stored, many substancesrequire a constant temperatureto avoid loss of quality or toprevent dangerous reactions.DENIOS uses the most up-to-date temperature regulators toensure user friendlyprogramming of requiredtemperatures. The majority ofDENIOS regulators can beprogrammed and adjusted onthe main control box on theexterior of the container.

Grounding kitsGrounding kits are required toavoid an electric dischargebetween the container andother conductive units. AllDENIOS hazmat containers canbe fitted with an accessory toavoid discharges. These arehighly recommended for contai-ners storing explosive materials.

DENIOS Pre-engineered spill decks provide compliant, modularspill containment for in-plant dispensing operations.

Individual decks are 5” deep and sized from 4' x 5', 5' x 5', 4' x 6',to 5' x 6'. This provides for multiple configurations and the flexi-bility to build around walls, columns, bollards, etc.Custom sizes also available.

Optional ramps ease material handling on and off the decksurface.

Galvanized grating is mounted above the spill sump, providing astorage base for drums, totes, dispensing racks, shelving.

Federal Regulations along with Local Jurisdictions require thatsprinkler water in combination with regulated or hazardousmaterials be prevented from being released into the environmentvia sewers, streams, or ground contamination. When a releaseoccurs, fines and clean-up costs can be staggering.

NFPA-30 4.4.2.5Curbs, scuppers, special drains, or other suitablemeans shall be provided to prevent the flow of liquidsunder emergency conditions into adjacent building areas.

UFC-60.4.6.3.4Secondary containment for indoor storage areas shall bedesigned to contain a spill from the largest vessel plus the designflow volume of fire-protection water calculated to dischargefrom the fire-extinguishing system over the minimum requiredsystem design area or area of the room… for a period of 20minutes.

OSHA 1910.106 (e) (3) (iv) (a)Emergency drainage systems shall be provided to directflammable or combustible liquid leakage and fire protection water to a safe location. This may require curbs, scuppers, or special drainage systems to control the spread of fire.

OSHA 1910.106 (d) (4) (i)Openings to other rooms or buildings shall be provided with non-combustible liquid-tight raised sills or ramps at least 4” in height.

In cases of catastrophic spills or sprinklerreleases, containing the spill to a single roomor area can limit the costs associated withclean-up or facility damage.

DENIOS Automatic Doorway Spill Barriersprovide the protection to contain those largespills by closing off any doorway or opening inthe affected room at the first sign of flowingliquids.

Barriers prevent spills from reaching storm drains or contaminating ground water.

When closed the Barriers lay flat, allowing normal vehicular or pedestriantraffic.

Automatic Doorway Spill Barriers are often utilized as containment equipment for Flammables StorageRooms.

When not deployed, barrier door stores flat in floor, eliminating the need for ramps or berms. Automatically closes with introduction of liquid in the built-in collectionsump, creating a liquid tight seal and containing the spill in the room where it originated.
