or a cuppa and a convo

ruok.org.au

A simple way to connect or reconnect with someone – whether it’s a friend, family member or workmate– is over a cuppa. That’s why this year we’re calling on Australians to make time for a cuppa and a convo with the people who matter most to them.

This initiative is about strengthening our relationships and bridging the gap between caring about someone and letting them know that you’re there for them when they need it. The conversation on the day doesn’t have to be the heavy stuff, sometimes just talking about travel, sport or the kids is enough to ease the stress of life. But if they’ve got a lot on their plate you can use our 4 Steps to show them they’re supported and help them find strategies to better manage the load.

Remember, in the time it takes to have a cuppa, you could start a conversation that could change a life. Get involved and help create a more connected world.

How do I get started? All you have to do is bring people together and put the kettle on or pick a place to pop out for a cuppa - it’s as simple as that! But here are some tips to make your CUPPA & CONVO event a success:
