Building Community

2015 Sustainability Report | Summary

Dreambuilders

Yellow Ribbon Project

Irish Autism Action

Started to support the development and construction of education

facilities in Nagarkot, Nepal, Dreambuilders is the only MCI Group

project which brings together MCI Talents from around the world

in the spirit of volunteerism.

Since 2013, MCI Talents have raised €38,000+, volunteered

1,500+ hours, supported the education of 800+ children, built 5

classrooms and funded the wages of a teacher for 2 years through

the programme.

Dorier Singapore has established a partnership with the Yellow

Ribbon Project – an ex-offender reintegration programme – to fight

stigma and promote a culture of “second chances”.

So far Dorier Singapore has hired 3 staff through the project, all of

which are fitting in exceptionally well. They hope to hire up to 20 more

ex-offenders in the next three years in a sign of support for

reintegration programmes and policies.

With the help of our Preferred Suppliers, over the last few years MCI

Dublin has supported Irish Autism International (IAA) by organising

their Annual IAA Ball pro-bono. The gala charity dinner helps fund the

IAAs information and support centres across the country.

In 2015 alone MCI helped the IAA raise over €100,000 – a figure we

hope will only rise as the years go by.

Since 2009, MCI talents have raised over €1.7 million for 409 community projects around the world and have invested 18,925 hours of time and energy. These are just a few examples of the 80 pro-bono and community action projects we have supported this year.
