Thank You!
Thank you to all who have been volunteering at Harman these last few weeks. You have all
been so very busy doing wonderful things for our school. Thank you to Allie Zelik and Alicia
Dunlap for a lovely Veteran’s Day event. Thank you Kelly Hick for helping to bring COSI to
Harman. Thank you to Katherine Cezeaux for a great book fair. Thank you to all who helped behind the scenes setting up these events,
helping throughout the day, and lending a hand as necessary. We couldn’t do it without
our dedicated and caring volunteers.
Harman Trivia Night Update
A very special thank you to all who supported our Harman PTO at our only fundraiser for the year. Wow! What a fabulous night! The PTO is
humbled once again by the tremendous support of our community. We are pleased to
report that we raised funds to upgrade some of our playground equipment (on the blacktop
area) and also funds to support our initiatives for the 2018-19 school year. Things such as COSI,
teacher grant requests, and continued support for our various school clubs would not be
possible without the monies raised at Trivia Night. Our new venue was spacious and
beautifully decorated (thank you decorating committee) with a yummy dinner, lots of silent
auction items to choose from, and the priceless time spent together with fellow friends.
Attendees had a great time with the best
emcee in Oakwood, James O’Hara, thank you for your many years of help with Trivia Night.
Thank you to all who donated and sponsored trivia night. Lastly, thank you to co-chairs Carlyn McCarthy and Cara Porcelli for their countless hours of work to coordinate a fantastic event. Thank you to all the parents and friends who worked to put together this event. It couldn’t have happened without your help. Harman
PTO thanks you all! We hope you will consider volunteering to help for next year’s event.

Giving Spirit
Harman students donated food, hats, mittens, and toys to help others in our community, including the Ruskin School. Thank you Harman families for your generosity.
