Where did Erik’s Church come from? In 2017, the idea of Erik’s Church was created. The Erik’s Church name comes as a pun to the founder’s own life. Erik’s is the name of his father’s original bar in Portland. Church comes from, as he puts it “my father is a protestant, the rest of us are Catholic. He hated going to Church with us, so a place to drink, dine, and dance is his kind of Church”. The idea was to create Maine’s first live music country bar in the heart of Sebago lakes region. It wasn’t enough to build a bar, it had to be done with an eye for detail to ensure an amazing customer experience. In May 2018, Erik’s Church opened its doors. We pride ourselves in providing the best in food, drink, service, atmosphere, and entertainment. 7 days a week there is something going on here at Erik’s Church, and so check out our website and Facebook for all the upcoming events.
