We continue to grow with a total of 18 people who now live here at Happy Haven: 5 house parents and 13 children. With our growth in numbers and several recent costly repairs to our property, your generous donations and your support are so necessary to our providing this Christian home for the children at Happy Haven.

As individual donors, please remember our children of Happy Haven with your donations during the fall months. Also, be planning now to remember our work with your year-end donations.

As churches and elders consider their 2015 budgets, please contact me if you would like for me to come and meet with you to tell you more about our work at Happy Haven. Also, I would be happy to give your congregation a report with PowerPoint on our work here with children. We would certainly appreciate having your support.

We salute John and Renee Mayher in this newsletter as our volunteers for this quarter. They are parents to Melissa Lewis, who is one of our house moms, and are members of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. Some of our girls even consider the Mayhers like grandparents. They have helped with field trips, going to ball games, outings, sewing projects, sleepovers (camping upstairs), meals, and relief parenting. We appreciate them both so very much and their support and volunteer work for Happy Haven.
