North Dakota Living is a magazine that captures what’s in the hear ts and minds of Nor th Dakotans who live and work in this great state.
Take Care!North Dakota Living’s October issue will feature a “Take
Care” editorial section highlighting health care topics important to all of North Dakota.
With the onset of winter cold and flu season, North Dakota Living will take a look at the role personal hygiene, and behavioral protection, play in reducing the risk of contracting cold and flu bugs.
Celebrating Co-op MonthNorth Dakota Living will include a celebration of Co-op
Month, the national observance of the value and vitality of the cooperative way of doing business. The new and successful BisMan Community Food Cooperative will be a focal point, and other key information about cooperative enterprise will be presented.
Covering election issuesIn casting ballots for the Nov. 8 election, North
Dakotans will elect a new governor and lieutenant governor, several other key state and federal officeholders, and decide the fate of ballot measures. The October issue will carry responses to North Dakota Living questions from candidates in the races for governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives and the state Public Service Commission. Identification of all candidates in statewide races, and of ballot measures, will also be provided.
Preparing for winterOutdoor lover and regular contributor Debi Nelson
provides an essay – with her own photos – on how the birds and creatures in her woodsy North Dakota neighborhood react to the transition from summer to winter.
