Handlebar mount for Garmin ZUMO 590 LM *lockable*
The Touratech handlebar mount for the Zumo 590 LM is like a hand that closes securely around the Zumo to hold and protect it. Our developers deployed their ingenuity and advanced technical expertise to design this lockable handlebar mount that locks and unlocks quickly and with ease. The Zumo 590 LM cradle with power supply is integrated into this Touratech motorbike mount. First of all, insert the Garmin Zumo into the bracket and it connects to the built-in Garmin power supply. Then push the spring-mounted locking wings together and feel them click securely into place. Now you can lock the bracket via the integrated cylinder lock. The mount has been designed to allow the system to be switched on and off while the mount is locked. This handlebar mount can be ordered keyed alike with your existing Touratech accessories.

The new ZUMO 660 handlebar mount V2.0 incorporates a lot of expertise – our developers have incorporated experience from many trips into this innovative product. The ZUMO 660 handlebar mount V2.0 features a new cushioned opening mechanism, and the V2.0 handlebar mount closes and locks in two separate steps. The mount closes to hold the ZUMO 660 securely in place, and then the closure mechanism can be locked. The Garmin base mount with power supply which comes with the ZUMO 660 is integrated into the Touratech handlebar mount V2.0.

A lot of our know-how has found its way into the Touratech Montana handlebar mounting. The experiences from thousands of test miles were innovatively incorporated by our developers. We use a cushioned opening mechanism for the lock. The optional Garmin Montana Cradle with power supply (01-065-0760-0) is integrated into this mounting design and is a prerequisite for using our Touratech handlebar mounting. First of all, the Garmin Montana is installed in the preassembled Garmin Cradle with the power supply. In the next step, the locking mechanism is pressed down and tangibly securely locked into place. The mounting can now be closed with the integral lock cylinder. The handlebar mounting can be ordered simultaneously with other Touratech accessories.

Handlebar mounting V2.0 BMW Navigator IV and BMW Navigator V * lockable * blackThe BMW Navigator handlebar mount has been developed specifically for motorbike use.The base mount with the power supply strip and control buttons on the side which is supplied with the BMW Navigator is integrated into the Touratech handlebar mount. Using the original BMW base mount on its own does not sufficiently protect the Navigator IV and V against the vibrations that occur specifically on motorcycles. Another feature of our handlebar mount is that the BMW Navigator IV and V securely locks into the motorcycle mounting.

ZUMO handlebar mounting 550
The ZUMO was specially developed for motorbike use. The motorbike mounting supplied with the ZUMO including the power supply and connections for the headset are to be integrated in the Touratech handlebar mounting. If the original Garmin motorbike mounting is used on its own, motorbike vibrations can cause the unit to oscillate severely within its mounting.
The facts about handlebar mounting:
- All mounting options are possible; either on the 12 mm middle strut, using a swivel head adapter or using the adapter supplied with the Zumo- All connection options are provided, including the power supply and headset connection with 2.5/3.5 mm jack. This handlebar mount is specially adapted to the shape of the GPSMAP 78. The GPS device fits easily in the stainless steel base plate. After activation of the laser-cut, CNC-shaped, forcibly guided closing mechanism, the upper part of the bracket lowers down over the device. The holder is specially adapted to the GPSMAP 78 and grips the device firmly and securely. The power cable with the round plug passes through the handlebar mount and is connected to the device before the device is placed in the mount.

PDAs are unlike the mobile GPS Systems from page 100 very imperilled from vibration and wetness.We‘ve invented handlebar brackets for PDAs, which made it possible to take them with you on your mo-torcycle- and bicycle-trip. Your PDA can be fixed with several distance plates in the water proofed bag. With the circular, rain proofed zipper it‘s possible to mount easily the power cable to your PDA.
These handlebar brackets include our specially for the Rallye Paris Dakar invented and proofed MvG vibration decoupled arrangement. The bags are, on an plate made of Aluminium, fixed with a combination of Velcro and waler. You can take the instrument with the bag fastly off and also fastly on the handlebar. The handlebar brackets can be fixed on a crossbar with 12 mm diameter or on a bike crossbar.The adoption with our Mounting Brackets (from p. 1599 on) improves also the possibilities to mount a PDA handlebar bracket.

Power connections for your GARMIN GPS unit
We have a wide range of power supply cables for connecting the GPS unit to a cigarette lighter or a DINsocket on your vehicle. For 12 V units, e.g. the GPS76 Cx/CSx or 60 series units, the plug can be unscrewed for easy connection to the motorbike. Plus and minus can then be connected to the bike‘s battery terminals. To improve your safety, you can also use a 1-amp fuse, 030-0028, connected in the positive lead.
WARNING! For 3 to 6 volt units, e.g. the eTrex, the plug must not be cut off. Use our 065-0116 cable with screwed-on combi-plug and separate regulator unit.You can also find other cables for GPS units in our online shop at www.Touratech.com
