There will be a Thames River Dinner Cruise on Wednesday evening. Tickets for this can be pre-booked during online

registration before the start of the conference. Delegates will be required to make their own way to Westminster

Millennium Pier where the cruise will depart from. Below are more instructions on how to get there.

EuroDisplay 2013 7

How to get there:

1. From Sir Alexander Fleming building (where the conference is taking place, point A on below map) turn right

onto Imperial College Road then right again onto Exhibition Road. Keep walking to the end of the road

where you will see the South Kensington Underground station (point B on the below map).

underground ticket staff for further information or go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/.

3. Once on the underground take the District Line (the green line) towards Upminster Underground Station or

the District Line (the green line) towards Tower Hill Underground Station.

4. Leave the train at Westminster, the fourth stop.

5. Take exit 1 out of the underground station and follow the signs to Westminster Millennium Pier. There will be

some of the local organising committee leading groups to the dinner. The groups will leave from the

registration desk in the Sir Alexander Fleming Building at 17.20. Please note the boat will leave at 18.15

sharp, so please do not be late!

Travel to the conference Imperial College London is located in the heart of prestigious South Kensington; less than 5 minutes walk from

South Kensington underground station and close to many major attractions and most exclusive shopping districts.
