    PREFACE

This Manual contains information regarding the Clinical Practice Component of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy Program at the University of Toronto. It is intended primarily as a reference and learning guide for those individuals involved in providing physical therapy students with clinical experiences that will help them acquire skills and knowledge that integrate with the academic component of the program. The Department of Physical Therapy recognizes that it is in the clinical environment that the knowledge, attitudes, and skills required are applied and evaluated.

The Department of Physical Therapy wishes to thank all the members of the Clinical Education Community for their ongoing valuable contribution to the department with our students in the development of this handbook.
