1. INTRODUCTION
Hammond Lane Metal Company Ltd. operates a metal recycling facility at Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The site operates as conditioned by the IED Licence - P0997- 01.
Cuthbert Environmental was commissioned by The Hammond Lane Metal Company Ltd. to conduct dust monitoring surveys at site boundary locations. This is as conditioned in the licence.
The report details the total dust identified at the site.

2. METHODOLOGY
Dust deposition was measured in accordance with VDI 21 19: Measurement of Dust Using a Bergerhoff Dust Deposition Gauge. The gauges consist of a collecting jar positioned at 1.5 meters above ground level with a bird guard around the collecting jar.
Dust monitoring was carried out from the lgth November to the 20th December 201 8.
Total dust deposition was determined and expressed as mg/m2/day.

Total dust deposition results are presented in the Table below. All results were analysed by Environmental Laboratory Services, Acorn Business Campus, Mahon Industrial Park, Blackrock, Co. Cork.

4. DISCUSSION
Currently, the Hammond Lane Metal Company Ltd. operates under the guidance of an IED licence issued by the EPA. The licence sets a limit of 350 mg/m2/day for total dust deposited.
Samples taken from all locations are within the limit of 350 mg/m2/day for total dust deposited.
Hammond Lane Metal Company Ltd, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork has received no complaints in relation to dust deposition or air quality and there are no indications that the site is causing a dust nuisance.
