Twotime Tony Award nomineeJoshua Henry will lead the Chicagocompany of Hamilton as Aaron Burr,it has been announced by producerJeffrey Seller. Henry, who made hisBroadway debut in IN THE
HEIGHTS, received Tony Award nominations for his roles in VIOLET and THESCOTTSBORO BOYS and just concluded the Broadway run of SHUFFLE ALONGwhere he created the role of "Noble Sissle."
Mr. Seller also announced that Mandy Gonzalez, who created the role of "NinaRosario" in the Tony Awardwinning musical IN THE HEIGHTS and can currentlybe seen in on the hit TV shows "Madam Secretary" and "Quantico," will return toBroadway and the Richard Rodgers Theater (226 West 46th St.) in October as thebrilliant and beautiful Angelica Schuyler in the 11time Tony Awardwinningmusical Hamilton. She succeeds Renée Elise Goldsberry who won the 2016 TonyAward for the role. Goldsberry's final performance and Gonzalez's debut will beannounced at a later date.

Joshua Henry recently filmed a starring role in the Luc Besson actionthriller The Lake oppositeJ.K. Simmons and Sullivan Stapleton which will premiere worldwide in January of 2017. Hisother film and television credits include Sex and the City the Movie, Winter's Tale, and season 7of "Army Wives."
A Drama Desk and OBIE Awardwinning actress, Mandy Gonzalez possesses one of the mostpowerful and versatile contemporary voices of our time. Perhaps best known for her emotionalportrayal of Nina Rosario in the original cast of LinManuel Miranda's Tony Awardwinning hitmusical In the Heights, Gonzalez also starred as Elphaba in the Broadway production ofWicked. Most recently, Mandy has recurred on the hit Television shows "Madam Secretary"(Lucy Knox) and "Quantico" (Agent Susan Combs). Other Broadway roles include PrincessAmneris in Aida; Lennon; and Sarah in the original cast of Dance of the Vampires. OtherTelevision credits include guest appearances on "Doubt," "The Good Wife," "White Collar," and"666 Park Avenue." Film credits include Viral, Over/Under, After, Man on a Ledge, and Acrossthe Universe. Mandy has performed with prestigious symphonies across the country and aroundthe world, and is currently working on her first solo CD, set to release in 2017.
With book, music and lyrics by LinManuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreographyby Andy Blankenbuehler, music direction/orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is basedon Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won eleven2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical,Choreography and Orchestrations. Mr. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama forHamilton.
HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant fromthe West Indies who became George Washington's righthand man during the RevolutionaryWar, and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hiphop,jazz, blues, rap, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, told by Americanow.
The musical is produced by Jeffrey Seller, Sander Jacobs, Jill Furman and The Public Theater.
The Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Recording recipient of the 2016 Grammy for BestMusical Theatre Album and a regular on numerous Billboard top 10 lists is availableeverywhere nationwide.

The musical celebrates its 1st anniversary on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre onAugust 6. A touring production begins a 21week run in San Francisco in March 2017, followedby a 21week engagement in Los Angeles. A London production will be mounted, also in 2017.
