Hamilton is the story of America’s Founding Father, Alexander

Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became

George Washington’s “right-hand man” during the

Revolutionary War and was the nation’s first Treasury Secretary.

Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B and

Broadway styles, Hamilton is the story of America then, told by

America now. Based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander

Hamilton, the show is a thoroughly inventive, wildly-

entertaining musical about the birth of our nation.

Our group will arrive at the Magnificent Mile in downtown

Chicago at about 10:30am and will have until 1:00pm to have

lunch, and perhaps, do a little shopping before re-boarding the

coach for the drive down to the Loop in

time to catch the 2:00pm show at the

CIBC Theatre.

The group will depart Chicago after the

show’s conclusion at about 5:00pm.
