1. Load Star and leave her in the Zero position, the neck, the head and the chest should be zeroed, so you can move her arms.

2. Window > Python Scripts3. Scripts > Networks > Hair Conversion System 2014 > +Send Submenu to Python Palette4. With Star selected, load an hair item in the scene - for example V4 hair5. With Star selected, in the Python Palette: Full Hair Conversion > Initialize > Ok6. With Hair selected, in the Python Palette: Full Hair Conversion > Load Hair Obj > Ok (Hair now

look without texture)7. With Star selected, load the Magnets: it is the content folder of the HCS

I’ll load V4 to Star

8. With Star selected, in the Python Palette: Full Hair Conversion > Apply Magnets > Ok (Now the Hair should fit Star)

9. Python Palette: Full Hair Conversion > Save Hair File (Now you have to save your .cr2 file - I save mine in the same folder of the original hair, so I can find those there even when I use Daz Runtime > Libraries > Hair …..)

10. The Hair has now Disappeared from the scene and you can find it in your library11. Refresh your folder (NB there will be no preview)

Page 4: Hair Conversion System 2014 Tutorial

12. Load your hair13. Load a material14. You can now create the preview: this is not necessary but it is cool: Render a 91x91 png15. Place the image in the same folder of the cr2 and name it the same -

16. Refresh the folder…..17. Done!

18. In Daz you will find it in Poser Format > My Daz 3d Library > Hair ….the same path while the textures are in the content library products
