“Habit”- an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it

has become almost involuntary

It takes an average of 21 days to develop

a HABIT, and an average of 3 days to

break one.

The Christian life is not just about that one

decision in an altar, but the daily decision to

live the life that Christ intended for you.

(1Ch 29:11) Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the

glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the

heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

(1Ch 29:12) Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou

reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength

unto all.

(Joh 3:27) …A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from

heaven.

(Jas 1:17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh

down from the Father of lights…

(Deu 8:18) But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…

(Col 3:5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

(Php 4:11-12) Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be

content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be

hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

(Ecc 5:10) He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is

also vanity.

(Luk 12:15) And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of

covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the

things which he possesseth.

Investing Money Biblical

Luke16:1-11

We have trouble in making proper

investments because of the confusion concerning

the basic fundamental principles of the Christian

Stewardship

Principle #1

Owning or

Managing

(1Co 6:19) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you,

which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

(1Co 6:20) For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit,

which are God's.

Your life

(Hag 2:8) The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD

of hosts.

(Luk 16:10-11) He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful

also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in

much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to

your trust the true riches?

Your money

Money isn't really the issue. Money becomes the issue because what we do with money reflects and

reveals how we view God, ourselves and our

relationship with Him

Principle #2

Gains or loses

(Mat 16:26) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Your life

(1Jn 2:16) For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and

the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is

of the world.

Lust of the flesh (Controlling the desire to DO)

Lust of the eyes (Controlling the desire to HAVE)

Pride of life (Controlling the desire to BE)

Your money

(Php 3:7) But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss

for Christ.

(Php 3:8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of

Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all

things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Your money

Principle #3

Need or Greed

(1Ti 6:6) But godliness with contentment is great gain.

(1Ti 6:7) For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can

carry nothing out.

(1Ti 6:8) And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

(1Ti 6:9) But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which

drown men in destruction and perdition.

Principle #4

Life or Strife

(Luk 12:15) And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's

life consisteth not in the abundance of the things

which he possesseth.

(Jas 4:1-3) From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of

your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have

not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not,

because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye

ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Principle #5

This Life or the

after life

(1Co 3:12) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious

stones, wood, hay, stubble;(1Co 3:13) Every man's work shall be

made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed

by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

(1Co 3:14) If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall

receive a reward.(1Co 3:15) If any man's work shall be

burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by

fire.

(Rev 4:10) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their

crowns before the throne, saying,
