It provides the companies with a great chance to NETWORK with one another and also promote themselves better with other companies. The corporate dinner provides a forum for bringing about an awareness among the companies in Kolkata.

The corporate conclave will include panel discussions by and between the eminent corporates .At the start of the event a panel discussion will take place where the panel will comprise of eminent people from the city and our national partners . They will be gathered together to discuss on subjects like ETHICAL LEADERSHIP, ENTREPRENEURSHIP and to brainstorm solutions to the problems related to it . Selected students will also be participating in the panel discussion as the audience.

A Corporate Dinner will be organized at the end of the event at a 5-star hotel to facilitate networking between the involved companies. The mission of the Corporate Dinner is to allow the top and evolving corporate companies to come together in an informal gathering and share their views, experiences and learn from each other.

The corporate conclave held in Bengal Chamber of Commerce and in The Park Hotel in 2012 and 2011 respectively was a great success. Last year, a panel discussion on the subject ‘Challenges Faced By The Entrepreneurs’ was conducted by the corporates of the city which was attended by AIESEC’ers and selected students from the participating colleges. The problems related to the topic and their solutions were discussed upon which were very informative.

Youth to Business Forum is a unique platform which connects the youth and the business world. The event is a chance for the companies to present themselves and associate their brand with social responsibility among talented students. It also provides a brilliant opportunity for companies to attract top talent and promote themselves among students . A chance to network with the most finest and conscious minded people in the city.

The Youth to Business Forum will include workshops, panel-discussions and sessions attended by youth leaders from over 10 colleges . The objective of the day is to bridge the gap between Youth and Business by coming together to discuss Global Trends that affect our society like EDUCATION SYSTEM, UNEMPLOYMENT, the way we do business etc. It is also an opportunity to showcase to externals the kind of talent pool that AIESEC has an access to.

The youth to business forum held in GD Birla Sabhaghar and in ILead Institue in 2012 and 2011 respectively was a great success. Last year, Over 200 youth delegates from over 6 colleges joined business leaders and experts in Kolkata for AIESEC’s annual “Youth to Business Forum:” . A B-plan competition was conducted between the students of the colleges who had to come up with a proper business plan under the guidance of a mentor appointed to them. It was a great learning experience and it also helped to bridge up the gap between the youth and the corporates of the city.

An environment of globally diverse cultures & heritage – get prepared to become a global citizen. The Global Village would showcase the culture of each country represented by our international intern. It is a fun and colorful experience which aims at promoting internationalism and cultural sensitivity in the youth. We will be having a few games to increase the knowledge of every individual attending these events and also cuisines from various countries. Our international trainees would be part of the stalls of their respective countries.

The Global Village is a landmark for coming together of diverse cultures , different people from various countries to create a "potpourri of multiple cultures" at its finest edge. It embodies the high spirit celebration of diversity through myriad cultures,umpteen number of internationals coupled with global cuisine, international music, art and dance and stage performances, international exhibits, many activities and competitions providing an interactive platform to all. The purpose is to promote multi-cultural awareness to bridge the gap between cultures.

The Global Village- 2012 held from 16th – 20th July 2012 in La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata was a great success. This event is being organised by the collaborative efforts of AIESEC, FACES, British Council ,American Centre and La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata.
