Guru Mandir (Sri Sai Temple )

The Guru Mandir, the newly constructed temple in Austin Hindu Temple Campus will have the grand opening on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Festivities for Shirdi Saibaba vigraha pratishtapana Kumbhabhishekam will begin on

Thursday March 13, 2014 with Anugna, Abhishekam, Sai Sahasranamarchana, Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam

and with different rituals that is believed to homogenize, synergize and unite the mystic powers of the deity by

performing Jala, dhanya, pushpa and shayana aadivasam, a process of immersion performed to cleanse the vigrahas,

following with Kalasa and Shikara Yantra stapana.

Spiritual discourses on Shirdi Saibaba, Bhagavad Gita, bhajans and cultural programs are also planned along with religious rituals during the weeklong festivities. The day’s program on March 16th will commence early in the morning

at 5AM and Kumbhabhishekam will be held on the

auspicious Muhurtam at 11.15AM.
