1. NOMINATION PROCESS (Instructor Led or Classroom Training/eLearning): In order to register for an
Instructor Led Training please log in to IGROW and select the appropriate course(s) available on the course planner.
Please review the course nomination criteria before seeking approval. Once submitted your line manager will review
your request and approve/deny your nomination request.
2. CONFIRMATION OF ENROLLMENT: Once the line manager approves your learning request for Instructor Led
Training then an email notification is generated by IGROW to inform you on the status which can be of two scenarios
a. Enrolment confirmed which informs you that you have been reserved a seat in the course.
b. Waitlisted notification which informs you that the class is full and your nomination is currently on hold until
a vacancy is available or you have the option to select another date by accessing iGROW.
3. NOMINATION PROCESS (Other Learning items): In order to register for a learning items such as Job Aids,
Tool Kits, Documents, Reference Material, etc., please log in to iGROW and select the appropriate Item(s) available on
the course catalogue. No approval is required for these leaning items unless there is an investment associated to it.
In case you are taking an eLearning, once approved by line manager you can commence the course, keeping in mind the due date for completion.
4. LUNCH TIMING (Instructor Led Training): Lunch will be provided for a full day training programme between
12:00 pm to 02:00 pm. Lunch will not be provided for half day training programmes.
5. TRAINING VENUE: Please refer to your Learning Plan in iGROW or your enrolment notification.
6. DRESS CODE: Smart Casual/Local Dress for Nationals.
7. ACCOMODATION: Please follow the standard Al-Futtaim HR policies and procedures to avail these facilities.

8. TRANSPORTATION: Al-Futtaim HR policy and process applies. Contact your HRBP for more details.
9. VISA FORMALITIES: Overseas participants need to arrange their own visa prior to for attending any training
programmes.
10. CANCELLATION GUIDELINES: If a participant(s) cannot attend the Instructor Led Training then cancellation will
be accepted 5 working days prior to the start date of the course. Please forward the cancellation notification via email to [email protected]. Replacements will only be accepted if they meet the nomination criteria of the course. Please note all associate cancellation will be charge back to the respective business area.
11. COURSE RESCHEDULE: Instructor Led Courses can on occasion be rescheduled due to insufficient nomination of
the course(s) and a notification will be send to the respective participants via IGROW. Participants can re-nominate on another if scheduled in the IGROW calendar.

12. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Pre Training Instructions once you arrive at the Training Venue:
a. Kindly register 15 minutes before the commencement of the course. In fairness to all participants, anyone
arriving more than 15 minutes after the start of the training will not be allowed to attend the training and
marked absent. If you are running late (i.e. due to traffic) for a Group Learning and Development course
please contact us at 04.292.0555
b. Participants failing to attend (absentees) the designated course unless an emergency the cost of the course
will be charged to the respective business cost centre.
c. The Attendance Roster (participants register) will be available in the Reception. Kindly sign against your
name and validate your employee ID mentioned in the roster as this will be your record of attendance. Class
location will be mentioned in the Attendance Roster.
d. Parking facility is available at certain venues and will be based on first come first serve basis. Parking will be
at the participants own risk at any venue.
During the training:
Facility Useful Information
a. Smoking is strictly not permitted within the training venue. Participants can smoke in the designated areas.
Location information will be provided by the instructor.
b. Use of cell phones is not allowed in the classroom/ conference rooms.
c. Kindly note that there is an allocated Prayer Room. Location will be provided by the respective instructor.
d. Please contact the Reception for any other services required, like Taxi service etc.
e. Kindly switch off the PC’s after use if applicable.
f. Emergency Evacuation Procedures will be provided by the instructor on the first day of the training.
g. Refreshments will be provided for maximum two breaks and will be served in the designated areas.
Training Assessment & Evaluations
a. Your feedback is very valuable hence please complete the training evaluation at the end of each training.
b. Post course assessments or assignment(s) if applicable, are mandatory hence please complete the
assessment at the end of each training.
13. RECORDING LEARNING: All Instructor Led Courses and eLearning will be recorded automatically and will be
reflected in your learning history provided all required learning has been completed. If your course is not reflecting in
history please contact iGROW Administration.
14. RECORD LEARNING for Other Learning Item(s): Line Manager can record your learning items like Reference
Material, Tool kits, documents etc.
