The orchard site is a young planting of 12-yr-old ‘Idared’ trees on B.9 rootstock. Treatments were applied dilute to runoff using a gas powered backpack sprayer (200 PSI). Most treatments were made at 20% bloom, 50% bloom, 80% bloom, full bloom/petal fall and during terminal shoot growth. With a 90% infection rate of Fire Blight, Magna-Bon CS 2005 mixed with Regalia achieved 92% control in field trial-A! In field trial-B, we had 100% success rate! Field Trial A Field Trial B Evaluation of bactericide and chemical regulator programs for the management of Fire Blight on 12-yr-old ‘Idared’ trees on B.9 rootstocks. Our copper sulfate pentahydrate in-solution formula is OMRI-listed with systemic capabilities! It’s environmentally friendly by using less than an 1/16 lb to 1/8 lb per acre of metallic copper specifically designed to combat agricultural diseases in apples including: Anthracnose, Blossom Blast, European Canker, Shoot Blast, Apple Scab, Fire Blight, Collar Rot, Crown Rot!
