PRESENTACIÓN

El dominio del Idioma INGLES constituye en la actualidad, una herramienta

fundamental que amplia el horizonte cultural del ser humano, permitiendo a la vez, dar

a conocer nuestra propia cultura a personas que habitan en otras latitudes. Por esta

razón, es sumamente importante que los estudiantes se inicie en el aprendizaje de este

idioma desde lo básico; con el fin de que vayan adquiriendo, de manera gradual,

progresiva y amena, las estructuras fundamentales para el desarrollo de la

competencia comunicativa en esta lengua extranjera.

INTRODUCCIÓN

La guía de Inglés I, esta creada para la enseñanza del Inglés como segunda lengua. Su

objetivo fundamental es que los estudiantes adquieran las competencias lingüísticas

necesaria para comunicarse en el Idioma.

La guía esta organizada en cuatro competencias a través de las cuales se presenta, de

manera gradual y progresiva, el vocabulario y las estructuras básicas dentro de

situaciones comunicativas que se adecúan a la edad, a las experiencias y a los intereses

de los estudiantes de este nivel educativo.

Las actividades propuestas y la secuencia en que se presentan, están orientadas hacia

el desarrollo de las cuatro destrezas básicas en el aprendizaje de una lengua:

comprensión oral, expresión oral, comprensión escrita y expresión escrita.

Con el fin de facilitar la retención de los aspectos lingüísticos presentados a través de

diálogos, ilustraciones, lecturas, etc., se ha considerado conveniente incluir al final de

la guía, resumen gramatical y ejercicios

Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías

Biography

Chávez was born on July 28, 1954 in the town of Sabaneta, Barinas. He is the second son of two

schoolteachers, Hugo de los Reyes Chávez and Elena Frías de Chávez. As the leader of the

Bolivarian Revolution, Chávez promotes a political doctrine of democratic socialism, Latin

American integration, and anti-imperialism. He is also a critic United States foreign policy.

Chávez founded the Fifth Republic Movement. He was elected President in 1998 with a campaign

centering on promises of aiding Venezuela's poor majority, and was reelected in 2000 and in 2006.

Democratically, Chávez has maintained nation wide Bolivarian Missions, whose goals are to

combat disease, illiteracy, malnutrition, poverty, and other social ills.

The Bolivarian University of Venezuela

The Bolivarian University of Venezuela, or UBV is the first public university created in the last

decade in Venezuela , founded in 2003 by presidential decree. It began offering classes in
