The Project

Keep it Simple, Make it Fast! (KISMIF) is a

research project that aims to analyze punk

manifestations in Portugal from their origins

to present days (1977-2012).

KISMIFs approach is transdisciplinary

(anthropology, history, journalism, psychology,

sociology) and deals with different time andspace frames, in both synchronic and diachronic

manners, in order to unveil the curtains that

hide this barely visible and complex research

object.

The Punk Archive(2)

Building up the Portuguese Punk Archive is one of

the main tasks of the KISMIF Project. Right from the

start, the project aimed at creating a set of tools

and a platform for archiving, cataloguing,preserving and publicly showing the memories of

Portuguese punk.

But how couldwe actually

around these
