PRELUDE

AGENDA

“Innovation” and “Agility” are the two competitive ingredients and imperatives of growth, regardless of industry. In this era of continuous change, organizations need to accelerate their rate of innovation and reimagine their business models. Disruption is the new norm and the agility of an enterprise will determine its growth journey.

With technology being the backbone of every industry today; artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, block-chain, big data analytics, quantum computing have become the big buzz words; yet 5G is set to change the pace of business globally, given its potential to improve processing speeds by more than 10 times.

In all of this, where is the India story headed? We see a dire need to revolutionize the way we do business and hence business model innovation in this context, becomes even more imperative.

Technology today is at the heart of every organization; but preparing the workforce for the long haul, is something that cannot be ignored. The challenge is the mismatch between current skill sets and those needed for the future.

All of these pertinent aspects form part of our incisive agenda at GIL 2019: India with the theme, “Future of Business: Revolutionize Customer Engagement, The Workforce & Business models”.

Industry thought leaders will share visionary perspectives, deliberate on the Future of Business in India to 2030 and will uncover big picture issues to fuel sustainable top-line revenue growth, create customer value, and deliver a long-term competitive advantage.
