1 22 December 2018 Dear Fionuala and Brian You attended the Coate (Badbury Park) Residents’ Working Group meeting on the 18 September 2018 in which we discussed the Coate Water Country Park footpath from the Badbury Park footpaths Item 10. Residents make regular use of Coate Water Country Park for exercise and recreation but after heavy rain and especially during the in the winter months the access path from Day House Lane to Coate Water Park is muddy and prone to regular waterlogging. We also asked if Day House Lane speed could be reduced from 60mph to 40/30mph and a hatched warning area for pedestrians crossing, as some mothers with young children and older users have mentioned the speed of the traffic, especially during the winter months. Fionuala did explain there was Section 106 money was available to improve the access to Coate Water Park and we would appreciate an update on progress so far? We have attached 3 photos taken in March and December 2018.
