Group Presentation Script RE9 Anti-Aging Plus Nutrition Favorites – October, 2014 Note: Please do not make any changes to this script without first running it by your NVP. HOST COACHING:

3-4-Days before event be sure that the hostess has an RE9 Set or sample strip to try or a Fit Kit. Let her know you can’t wait to share these products with her, how cool that she gets to try a premium line for a few days. If they already use RE9 line, then bring some additional products in a host pamper basket to try.

Coach how to use the products, and let her know you’ll pick them up at the gathering. Don’t tell the full Arbonne story (save it for the gathering). Simply share how these products have worked for you, and how there is nothing like them on the market. If she happens to fall in love, she can get the set at a 35% - 55% discount.

Let your host know that her testimonial and HER relationships are what sells. People are looking for what we have to offer!

24 to 48 hours before event: Remind host to personally follow-up with each guest. This is SUPER IMPORTANT. Help her set the tone. If she’s upbeat and excited to see her friends - for wellness and beauty -- her friends will be excited to come!

Even provide suggested language for her follow-up phone call, text, or email to guests so it’s easy for her: “Hi, I’m so excited to see you tomorrow night at 7! Girls’ night! 379 S. Walnut.”

Remind host that guests often don’t RSVP until last minute, and even if only 1 or 2 guests can come, it’s a success, and please do NOT reschedule the gathering. Smaller sized gatherings are preferred and GREAT!

You want to make your presentation look SIMPLE. Use notes, whether you need them or not (shows those watching, if they can read they can do this!). Make your set-up look SIMPLE by having as much prepared beforehand as possible, and come in with one trip from the car with your items. While you set up, talk with hostess about the guests that are coming to learn anything more you can to be as prepared as you can be. Let her know you will ask her to share a quick testimonial for her guests, and go over what you would like her to talk about so it will be successful. CHECK LIST Products to take with you:

SINK SCRUB ***Note: Text in blue is directions for the person giving presentation, and is not meant to be read out loud. Start scrubs as soon as possible so you can start the presentation within 20-30 minutes of party start-time. Greet each guest. Invite them for a hand pampering treatment using the Sea Salt Scrub at the sink (use this time to introduce yourself and build rapport with them). As you massage their one hand, (so they can compare the product) do not talk about yourself or the products. Ask questions to get to know them: “How do you know __________?” (insert hostess’ name). “What do you do?... I bet you love that!”). Listen more than you speak. When finished, hand them a Client Care Card clipboard for them to begin filling out along with a pen. Have the hostess invite them to get some snacks and to take a seat in the room for the presentation. If playing deal or no deal game, hand out boxes tied with ribbon or bags (these need to look NICE)! Tell them to just hang on to this, and you’re going to explain later.

PRESENTATION ***Highlight this flip chart. Do NOT read it word for word. Study it; practice it out loud, and then highlight key words and phrases to remind you what to say, and then say it in your own words. Introduce yourself – my name is XXX I am very excited to be here to share Arbonne with you tonight. Then go around the room and have them introduce themselves -- what they do or how they know the hostess. Thank Hostess – ** plant seeds about them hosting a class** Have hostess say a few words to the group about why she wanted them to hear about Arbonne. (Discuss this with hostess in advance. Hopefully, she’s been using the products. If she’s been using the RE9 products, she should talk about how the SET has changed her skin, and not just focus on her one favorite).

Tell them what you’re going to do tonight - Tonight I’m going to 1) tell you a little about myself, 2) tell you a little about Arbonne and what makes us different, 3) let you try the products, 4) and show you how to shop at a discount. Let them know they are here to have fun, fell free to jump in with questions etc. Which brings me to our games for today. Explain which games you’re going to play tonight. Could be:

1. I STORY Tell Your Story – Now I know all of you a little better, I would like to share a little about me, and how I was introduced to Arbonne. Tell your story – formulate your I Story by answering: 1. A LITTLE about you, just the basics 2. How you were first introduced to Arbonne 3. What you thought when you were first introduced to Arbonne 4. What made you seriously consider the business 5. What were your hesitations and fears and your turning point 6. How you have already benefitted from your business, even in small ways 7. A glimpse into the future …. Where you are ultimately going with your business

You want to show them how Arbonne = their dreams. Let them know you are currently expanding your team and are looking for people you can teach and train to do what you do. Remember to talk about: 20-50% discount, time leveraging, tax advantages, travel opportunities and our company car, the White Mercedes. The reason I tell my story at the beginning of each presentation is I never know who might be looking for an opportunity like this. I never know who might need an extra few hundred dollars a month, or who might actually need to replace a six-figure income because they hate the job they’re in. So, this may or may not interest YOU, but if you know someone who might want to take a look, please let me know.” Then you can say, “I am looking for people to teach and train to do what I do.” OR “I am looking for people to join me in this journey, and they will get trained by my sponsor – insert name here – just as I am.” Your story is one of the most important parts of your presentation. This is where you weave the benefits of this business throughout your story. Include your upline’s story too. Laminate a couple EOA stories you like or of your upline to show. You might modify your story slightly to emphasize something you learned about a guest while meeting them during Sea Salt Scrub at the sink. EXAMPLE STORY: Thank you for sharing a little about you, now I would like to share a little about me. My name is Tracey Gatchel, and I am an independent consultant with Arbonne. I have had the good fortune to have been with Arbonne for 9 years – which may surprise you if you are just hearing about this company tonight. I was introduced to Arbonne by a friend, Elizabeth, who really wanted me to try these products. I was spending a fortune on skin care products because I have very sensitive skin, never staying loyal to

anything. I was amazed when I saw the results I got with these products and signed up and “got it all” to get the best discount. I NEVER believed I would be doing this as a business or doing group presentations like this! I have a corporate Banking background and thought no-one made money marketing products. 2. ARBONNE DIFFERENCE Now I’d like to tell you about what makes Arbonne different. I’m going to give each of you a catalog; it will be yours to keep, dog-ear, write-in, and take home for your reading pleasure. Hand guests the catalog. Make a joke about not flipping pages, perhaps, “Raise your right hand, and repeat after me: I promise not to flip ahead in the catalog…” – Make this funny, but keep control. Give rules with the catalog:

1) These reflect the retail prices, and before we are done I am going to show you how you can get your products at 20% off, 35%, 40%, 50% off.

2) Please keep on the page that I am working on with you. 3) The models in the catalog are actual Arbonne consultants, and you can learn a bit about what they

used to do. It’s really interesting reading. Relax and bring your personality into the presentation. Guide them to a page in the catalog that talks about Arbonne being founded in 1980. Zoom through bullet-points. Keep it upbeat and MOVING! No need to read every detail! Engage the audience conversationally. People remember a feeling from the gathering and stories and not bullet-point facts. A little about Arbonne the Company:

1. Arbonne is a 30+ year old company. Started in 1980. It is a global company – located in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., Poland, and we are expanding into other countries each year.

2. Research and development based on our Swiss heritage and European standards.

3. Made in the U.S.A. Okay, please turn to the Ingredient Policy page. We’re moving on to part 2 of our presentation - the Arbonne Difference. This page is probably the most important page in the catalog because it tells our philosophy and our promise. Guide them to the current page number for ingredients philosophy. Hot Tip: If you can’t pronounce some of the ingredients, don’t stress. Point to them in the catalog. You want to let your guests have the feeling that if they can read they can do what you do.

Okay, now that brings us to part 3 of our presentation, playing with the products! Remember, as I tell you about these products, you may think, “Mary would LOVE these.” Write her name down on your 3x5 card. Don’t forget. The one with the most names wins a prize!

3. PRODUCTS Please turn to our anti-aging skincare line called the RE9 Advanced, on page _____ (choose the page that shows RE9 as the set). This is our number 1 selling product. This product line is for anti-aging, and it also reverses the signs of aging. This set is made up of six products, and requires five steps in the morning and five steps at night. Right here I just lost some of you because you are saying you don’t typically use this number of steps. 1) One way to get products is to be a CLIENT. You pay full price at this level, but friends don’t let friends pay retail, so let’s move on to number 2.

2) The second way is to become a PREFERRED CLIENT. It’s $20 to sign up, and you get 20% off for 12 months, and you’re eligible for some great starter packages.

3) The third way is to be a CONSULTANT. This is a $79 sign-up, and it gives you 35% off for 12 months. To be honest, most people who sign up at this level are only signing up for the discount. When you are ready I would love to meet with you one-on-one to help you get your best deal, so is there anyone who needs to leave right now? I can work with you first at the table over there. If nobody is in a rush, stay with the group to answer questions, chat, etc. CLOSE AND COLLECT ORDERS – away from other guests. Try to have an area already set-up with your calculator, order sheets and date card or calendar with open dates marked. Also, have your opportunity packets ready to go. 5 STEPS IN YOUR CHECK-OUT: Practice these so they don’t seem stiff. You want these to sound conversational.

1) Work with one guest at a time to get them the best deal for the best price within their budget. Do not be shy about recommending what you know is the best deal for them and what you know will give them the best results. (Go for No!) If they have more than $50 in products picked out, but they are not at the $150 level, ask if there was anything else they were considering, and remind them of the opportunity to get a free gift when they sign-up with a $150 order. Ask them what they wanted to accomplish (get them to tell you what their issue was so you can recommend the products that would work for that. Almost always your answer is going to be RE9). You can quickly use the order calculator to show them the value of the $150 order with a free product, and very often they will want to get that extra free product.

2) Ask for a party. If they agreed to host a party with the Deal or No Deal game, then set the date for their party on the calendar that night. Don’t say, “I will call you to set the date.”

a. If they didn’t book a party with the Deal or No Deal game, YOU WANT TO ASK A SECOND TIME WHILE YOU ARE WITH THEM INDIVIDUALLY.

i. “I know you handed back the gift for Deal or No Deal, but are you sure you didn’t want to pick a gift tonight? When you book you get to choose an extra something.”

ii. And/or have your open dates you want to fill with an incentive written next to it. Hand them the dates on a small clip board and say, “There are some extra special deals going on. You might want to take a look at this.” (This is whatever you are willing to give – Genius, Night Crème, etc.) Or you can say, “What would it take to make it worth your while to squeeze it in this month?” (or whatever date you are looking for).

3) Genuinely compliment them, and ask if they had ever thought of doing anything like this before. Give a genuine compliment “I really enjoyed getting to know you tonight!” or, “You have such a wonderful personality!” or, “Would you ever consider taking a look at something like this?” You will get one of three answers:

a. “Yes, great! Look this packet over, and let’s get together for coffee in the next day or two to see if this might be a fit. Do you have 15 minutes tomorrow or the next day?” (Don’t say I will call you to schedule, but schedule it right then).

b. If they hesitate or give you an objection – an objection sounds like, “I don’t know/no, and a reservation (I hate sales, I don’t know enough people, I don’t have enough time, etc.). An objection is different than the word no. Try again and say, “I understand. It’s definitely worth 15 minutes of your time. Besides, I can bring you some other samples and show you how to maximize your discount.” If they say yes, then schedule an appointment right away as above.

c. “No, I understand. I look forward to following-up with you and getting to know you more!” i. If no, “I totally understand.” (But then write down their name and number on your

calendar to call and ask again in 2 days time. “I haven’t been able to get you off my mind.”). You planted a seed with them when you asked at the check-out. They have been thinking of you as well. Harvard Business Review published a study that 60% of people that were called a second time that already said no the first time, actually say yes the second time.

ii. PRACTICE WITH YOUR UPLINE TO GET REALLY GOOD AT HANDLING HESITATIONS AND OBJECTIONS IN THIS THIRD STEP. GETTING GOOD AT THIS WILL GROW YOUR SUCCESS!

4) Book an individual makeup appointment with them, “I offer a service for my clients, and I book 20

minute appointments to look at the makeup line. You can pick your favorite colors, and the next time you are going to order you will know what your favorites are.” (Book this on your calendar right then. This could be a nutrition appointment instead if that is more to their liking. This is a glorified coffee appointment where you will get to know them better).

5) “I also have a special of the month. You can take this home tonight with you at my cost.” (Choose a product of the month, and wrap it in cellophane to look pretty, and bring a few wrapped with you. Perhaps it is the Mascara or the Fizzies). This will add to your sales for the month.

HOT TIP: Give everyone an invitation to the next Discover Arbonne. HOT TIP: Book a 20-45 minute follow-up/how to order/personal cosmetic appointment with each Preferred Client regardless of whether they are hosting a group presentation. Help them with ordering tips and introduce them to other products (Makeup or Nutrition, etc.) – at this appointment let them know with a $250 order they get $125 for $25, and set them up with at least a $150 Special Delivery order for their shampoo, body wash, vitamins and other daily use items. This appointment leads to extra sales and gives you a chance to follow-up on the business. HOT TIP: AVOID sending anyone home with a sample, a catalog or a promise of following up for their order at a later date. CLOSE your sales and book immediately, even if tentative. Remember they can always change the date you penciled in for their party, and our products have a 45-day money back guarantee.

HOSTESS: At the end of their party offer your hostess to become a consultant. Compliment them, and let them know they had a great party. Let them know how they did above average sales, and give them the statistics on how many parties booked and how there was interest in the business opportunity. Suggest that you sign them up to be a consultant (if they are already a preferred client you can upgrade their account). You can link the party orders to them. You could create an accidental business partner. HOWEVER, they may be too tired to think about it that evening, and a tired mind says no. You may want to schedule a coffee with them the next day to go over the details of upgrading them and linking orders to them, but it does need to be the next day because orders from the party need to go in as soon as possible.

FOLLOW-UP FROM THE PARTY: Two days later – call those that said no to you. When you ask every single person at your group presentation to take a look at this business you planted a seed in them that they could do it. Even if they flat-out tell you no, they go home, and they actually think about it. But what do we think they think? We conjure up these negative ideas in our heads, and it’s not true. 2 days later call the people that you really loved at that group presentation that were successful, positive people -- fun to be around. Call them back even if they told you no. Hi, Samantha, this is ____________. I met you the other day at Linda’s show. I know you totally flat-out said no about considering this opportunity/business, but I felt compelled to call and ask you again. (Be genuine). I kept thinking about it. You would be so great at it, and I think it’s definitely worth 15 minutes of your time to sit down and chat with me. It’s totally fine if you say no to the opportunity. I’m OK with that. (PAUSE). See if you don’t get a coffee appointment. Who cares? They already said no to you once, all they can do is say no again. If they say yes, then schedule it for the next day or two away. “Do you have time Monday or Tuesday?” If they say no, “No problem. I’m really trying to move my business to the next level, would you be willing to help me out and have a show. Just get a few girls around your kitchen table. It would mean the world to me.” If you get voicemail, “I have a quick question for you. Could you call me back?”

The funniest thing is that very often they will say yes. The reason is that you planted a seed with them. You genuinely complimented them, and you made them feel special. You told them you thought they would be great at this. You honestly couldn’t get them off your mind. They honestly couldn’t get you off their mind either. People don’t get enough honest recognition in this world. You made them feel special. So make sure you plant that seed of genuinely telling them you thought they would be great at this, and ask them to take a look. You want to make sure you do that step at the individual check-out. Call even if they said no the first time. Harvard Business Review published a study that showed 60% of the time the person says yes the second time asked, even when they said no the first time. You don’t call everyone that said no at a party. You call one or two that you really think would be great. “I’ve been thinking about you. You’ve been on my mind.”

APPENDIX A BOOKING INCENTIVES Give nicely wrapped gift in cellophane wrapping. This can be something larger or smaller. It is your choice, but I recommend that it is something with QV because QV helps us grow our business with volume and working towards promotions. DEAL OR NO DEAL: PRIOR: Stock small boxes with one sample each from RE9 Advanced for face line. Hand out the boxes, and instruct them not to open their boxes yet. A great way to get a lot of Arbonne is to host a presentation. You get up to 55% off, and tonight we are also going to play a little game that will help you earn more free stuff if you want to host. We are going to play Deal or No Deal. If you say “Deal” that means you think you can get 4-6 friends over in the next 30 days (or by the end of the month or whatever you want to say). If you think you can do that then you would say, “deal” and you would open your box, and whatever is inside you would get a full-sized product of that free at your party. I will say there’s a Night Crème sample in there, so if someone has the Night Crème you would open it, and you would get a free Night Crème at your party. Then bring out another product – usually a Sea Salt Scrub – and wrap it up really nicely so it’s very desirable. AND THE FIRST PERSON TO SAY “DEAL” will also get to walk away with this free Sea Salt Scrub tonight. Then they are wanting to say “Deal” right away to beat their friends. Usually someone will say deal, so you can start there. Have them open their box. Next person will say deal.

If you don’t want to host that’s totally fine. You just say, “no deal,” and you get to keep whatever is in there. You get to use it for a week, and it’s just a thank you for coming. If they said deal then at the checkout you want to schedule their date that night. At the checkout, if they said “no deal,” but now they are sitting with the free sample gift, ask them if they want to change their mind to get the free product after all, or you can ask, “What would it take to be worth your while to squeeze it in this month?” HERSHEY KISS GAME: In fact, in order to encourage questions and add to the fun tonight, we’re going to play the Hershey’s Kiss game. Every time you ask a question about a product, you get one Hershey Kiss. If you ask a question about the Arbonne business, you get two Hershey’s Kisses. The person with the most chocolates or wrappers is going to get a gift from me. Make a joke out of it that this is just a friendly game of competition. INDEX CARD GAME You all have an index card. As you are listening tonight, it is very common to have names of people come to mind. Oh, I wish my sister were here, or my neighbor would love that. When someone’s name comes to mind, jot it down on the index card. The person with the most names at the end of the night will get a gift from me. I’m not going to collect these. It’s just another fun game. You use this to help the person realize they do have some good people that would want to attend a party when they host.
