HOST COACHING:

3-4-Days before event be sure that the hostess has an RE9 Set or sample strip to try or a Fit Kit. Let her know you can’t wait to share these products with her, how cool that she gets to try a premium line for a few days. If they already use RE9 line, then bring some additional products in a host pamper basket to try.

Coach how to use the products, and let her know you’ll pick them up at the gathering. Don’t tell the full Arbonne story (save it for the gathering). Simply share how these products have worked for you, and how there is nothing like them on the market. If she happens to fall in love, she can get the set at a 35% - 55% discount.

Let your host know that her testimonial and HER relationships are what sells. People are looking for what we have to offer!

24 to 48 hours before event: Remind host to personally follow-up with each guest. This is SUPER IMPORTANT. Help her set the tone. If she’s upbeat and excited to see her friends - for wellness and beauty -- her friends will be excited to come!

Even provide suggested language for her follow-up phone call, text, or email to guests so it’s easy for her: “Hi, I’m so excited to see you tomorrow night at 7! Girls’ night! 379 S. Walnut.”

Remind host that guests often don’t RSVP until last minute, and even if only 1 or 2 guests can come, it’s a success, and please do NOT reschedule the gathering. Smaller sized gatherings are preferred and GREAT!

You want to make your presentation look SIMPLE. Use notes, whether you need them or not (shows those watching, if they can read they can do this!). Make your set-up look SIMPLE by having as much prepared beforehand as possible, and come in with one trip from the car with your items. While you set up, talk with hostess about the guests that are coming to learn anything more you can to be as prepared as you can be. SINK SCRUB ***Note: Text in blue is directions for the person giving presentation, and is not meant to be read out loud. Start scrubs as soon as possible so you can start the presentation within 20-30 minutes of party start-time. Greet each guest. Invite them for a hand pampering treatment using the Sea Salt Scrub at the sink (use this time to introduce yourself and build rapport with them). As you massage their one hand, (so they can compare the product) do not talk about yourself or the products. Ask questions to get to know them: “How do you know __________?” (insert hostess’ name). “What do you do?... I bet you love that!”). Listen more than you speak. When finished, hand them a Client Care Card clipboard for them to begin filling out along with a pen. Have the hostess invite them to get some snacks and to take a seat in the room for the presentation. If playing deal or no deal game, hand out boxes tied with ribbon or bags (these need to look NICE)! Tell them to just hang on to this, and you’re going to explain later.

Then go around the room and have them introduce themselves -- what they do or how they know the hostess. Thank Hostess – ** plant seeds about them hosting a class** Have hostess say a few words to the group about why she wanted them to hear about Arbonne. (Discuss this with hostess in advance. Hopefully, she’s been using the products. If she’s been using the RE9 products, she should talk about how the SET has changed her skin, and not just focus on her one favorite).

Tell them what you’re going to do tonight - Tonight I’m going to 1) tell you a little about myself, 2) tell you a little about Arbonne and what makes us different, 3) let you try the products, 4) and show you how to shop at a discount. Let them know they are here to have fun, fell free to jump in with questions etc. Which brings me to our games for today. Explain which games you’re going to play tonight. Could be:

You want to show them how Arbonne = their dreams. Let them know you are currently expanding your team and are looking for people you can teach and train to do what you do. Remember to talk about: 20-50% discount, time leveraging, tax advantages, travel opportunities and our company car, the White Mercedes. The reason I tell my story at the beginning of each presentation is I never know who might be looking for an opportunity like this. I never know who might need an extra few hundred dollars a month, or who might actually need to replace a six-figure income because they hate the job they’re in. So, this may or may not interest YOU, but if you know someone who might want to take a look, please let me know.” Then you can say, “I am looking for people to teach and train to do what I do.” OR “I am looking for people to join me in this journey, and they will get trained by my sponsor – insert name here – just as I am.” Your story is one of the most important parts of your presentation. This is where you weave the benefits of this business throughout your story. Include your upline’s story too. Laminate a couple EOA stories you like or of your upline to show. You might modify your story slightly to emphasize something you learned about a guest while meeting them during Sea Salt Scrub at the sink. EXAMPLE STORY: Thank you for sharing a little about you, now I would like to share a little about me. My name is Tracey Gatchel, and I am an independent consultant with Arbonne. I have had the good fortune to have been with Arbonne for 9 years – which may surprise you if you are just hearing about this company tonight. I was introduced to Arbonne by a friend, Elizabeth, who really wanted me to try these products. I was spending a fortune on skin care products because I have very sensitive skin, never staying loyal to

I’m going to give each of you a catalog; it will be yours to keep, dog-ear, write-in, and take home for your reading pleasure. Hand guests the catalog. Make a joke about not flipping pages, perhaps, “Raise your right hand, and repeat after me: I promise not to flip ahead in the catalog…” – Make this funny, but keep control. Give rules with the catalog:

1) These reflect the retail prices, and before we are done I am going to show you how you can get your products at 20% off, 35%, 40%, 50% off.

2) Please keep on the page that I am working on with you. 3) The models in the catalog are actual Arbonne consultants, and you can learn a bit about what they

used to do. It’s really interesting reading. Relax and bring your personality into the presentation. Guide them to a page in the catalog that talks about Arbonne being founded in 1980. Zoom through bullet-points. Keep it upbeat and MOVING! No need to read every detail! Engage the audience conversationally. People remember a feeling from the gathering and stories and not bullet-point facts. A little about Arbonne the Company:

1. Arbonne is a 30+ year old company. Started in 1980. It is a global company – located in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., Poland, and we are expanding into other countries each year.

Hot Tip: If you can’t pronounce some of the ingredients, don’t stress. Point to them in the catalog. You want to let your guests have the feeling that if they can read they can do what you do.

Okay, now that brings us to part 3 of our presentation, playing with the products! Remember, as I tell you about these products, you may think, “Mary would LOVE these.” Write her name down on your 3x5 card. Don’t forget. The one with the most names wins a prize!

3. PRODUCTS Please turn to our anti-aging skincare line called the RE9 Advanced, on page _____ (choose the page that shows RE9 as the set). This is our number 1 selling product. This product line is for anti-aging, and it also reverses the signs of aging. This set is made up of six products, and requires five steps in the morning and five steps at night. Right here I just lost some of you because you are saying you don’t typically use this number of steps. If you’re not used to following a system, trust me that it literally only takes two minutes to get through all five steps, once you make it a part of your routine. It will be the best 2 minutes of your day because when you start seeing the results you get from this you will be so happy. All right, I’m going to pass these products around, each one except for the cleanser (because then you’d have to go wash it off). It cleans and hydrates without stripping your skin of its natural oils (it is not good for your skin to feel “squeaky clean”). It takes off your dirt, and grime from the day, and YES, IT EVEN REMOVES YOUR MAKEUP. Just pump a dime-sized amount onto your fingers, and wash your face. Everything Arbonne makes is incredibly concentrated. We don’t use any fillers, so this set will actually last you 4 months, easily. Do not pass around. The second step is our Regenerating Toner. It’s an Antioxidant rich, pH balanced mist with vitamins A, C and E. You need a toner to minimize pores, so it shrinks up your pores. You just washed your face and opened the pores and removed all the dirt, and now you want to close your pores. Toner is also an important step because it corrects the pH of your skin. Your skin is a little acidic to help you ward off bacteria, etc. This toner has no alcohol, so it is not drying to the skin. It’s incredibly refreshing and prepares your skin for the rest of the line. Spray it directly onto your face, or you can spray it on a cotton square. So that was cleansing and toning, and now we moisturize: The third step is our Intensive Renewal Serum. Gets rid of dead skin and diminishes lines, wrinkles and acne scars and gives you a healthy “Arbonne glow.” The ingredients actually wake up the collagen-producing cells in our skin that have gone to sleep, and gets them back to work. I couldn’t use one moisturizer let alone a serum and moisturizer before I started using Arbonne. I now know that my old

Day Crème: We have two different day creams to choose from. Both have SPF20 and will moisturize and protect your skin throughout the day. The Extra Moisture Restorative Day Crème is for people with dry skin. The Restorative Day Crème is for everyone else. Day cream = protector. Both day crèmes help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and protect from both UVA and UVB rays (which cause aging). There’s no mineral oil so it actually soaks in. Walk around the room and put a squirt on each person’s hand. Night Crème: In the evening, your fifth step will be the Night Creme. The Night Crème is an important step in the anti-aging process. Ask them what they wanted to accomplish (get them to tell you what their issue was so you can recommend the products that would work for that. Almost always your answer is going to be RE9). 2) Ask for a party. If they agreed to host a party with the Deal or No Deal game, then set the date for their party on the calendar that night. Don’t say, “I will call you to set the date.”

a. If they didn’t book a party with the Deal or No Deal game, YOU WANT TO ASK A SECOND TIME WHILE YOU ARE WITH THEM INDIVIDUALLY.

i. “I know you handed back the gift for Deal or No Deal, but are you sure you didn’t want to pick a gift tonight? When you book you get to choose an extra something.”

ii. And/or have your open dates you want to fill with an incentive written next to it. Hand them the dates on a small clip board and say, “There are some extra special deals going on. You might want to take a look at this.” (This is whatever you are willing to give – Genius, Night Crème, etc.) Or you can say, “What would it take to make it worth your while to squeeze it in this month?” (or whatever date you are looking for).

3) Genuinely compliment them, and ask if they had ever thought of doing anything like this before. Give a genuine compliment “I really enjoyed getting to know you tonight!” or, “You have such a wonderful personality!” or, “Would you ever consider taking a look at something like this?” You will get one of three answers:

a. “Yes, great! Look this packet over, and let’s get together for coffee in the next day or two to see if this might be a fit. Do you have 15 minutes tomorrow or the next day?” (Don’t say I will call you to schedule, but schedule it right then).

b. If they hesitate or give you an objection – an objection sounds like, “I don’t know/no, and a reservation (I hate sales, I don’t know enough people, I don’t have enough time, etc.). An objection is different than the word no. Try again and say, “I understand. It’s definitely worth 15 minutes of your time. Besides, I can bring you some other samples and show you how to maximize your discount.” If they say yes, then schedule an appointment right away as above.

c. “No, I understand. I look forward to following-up with you and getting to know you more!” i. If no, “I totally understand.” (But then write down their name and number on your

calendar to call and ask again in 2 days time. “I haven’t been able to get you off my mind.”). You planted a seed with them when you asked at the check-out. They have been thinking of you as well. Harvard Business Review published a study that 60% of people that were called a second time that already said no the first time, actually say yes the second time.

ii. PRACTICE WITH YOUR UPLINE TO GET REALLY GOOD AT HANDLING HESITATIONS AND OBJECTIONS IN THIS THIRD STEP. GETTING GOOD AT THIS WILL GROW YOUR SUCCESS!

4) Book an individual makeup appointment with them, “I offer a service for my clients, and I book 20

minute appointments to look at the makeup line. You can pick your favorite colors, and the next time you are going to order you will know what your favorites are.” (Book this on your calendar right then. This could be a nutrition appointment instead if that is more to their liking. This is a glorified coffee appointment where you will get to know them better).

5) “I also have a special of the month. You can take this home tonight with you at my cost.” (Choose a product of the month, and wrap it in cellophane to look pretty, and bring a few wrapped with you. Perhaps it is the Mascara or the Fizzies). This will add to your sales for the month.

FOLLOW-UP FROM THE PARTY: Two days later – call those that said no to you. When you ask every single person at your group presentation to take a look at this business you planted a seed in them that they could do it. Even if they flat-out tell you no, they go home, and they actually think about it. But what do we think they think? We conjure up these negative ideas in our heads, and it’s not true. 2 days later call the people that you really loved at that group presentation that were successful, positive people -- fun to be around. Call them back even if they told you no. Hi, Samantha, this is ____________. I met you the other day at Linda’s show. I know you totally flat-out said no about considering this opportunity/business, but I felt compelled to call and ask you again. (Be genuine). I kept thinking about it. You would be so great at it, and I think it’s definitely worth 15 minutes of your time to sit down and chat with me. It’s totally fine if you say no to the opportunity. I’m OK with that. (PAUSE). See if you don’t get a coffee appointment. Who cares? They already said no to you once, all they can do is say no again. If they say yes, then schedule it for the next day or two away. “Do you have time Monday or Tuesday?” If they say no, “No problem. I’m really trying to move my business to the next level, would you be willing to help me out and have a show. Just get a few girls around your kitchen table. It would mean the world to me.” If you get voicemail, “I have a quick question for you. Could you call me back?”

The funniest thing is that very often they will say yes. The reason is that you planted a seed with them. You genuinely complimented them, and you made them feel special. You told them you thought they would be great at this. You honestly couldn’t get them off your mind. They honestly couldn’t get you off their mind either. People don’t get enough honest recognition in this world. You made them feel special. So make sure you plant that seed of genuinely telling them you thought they would be great at this, and ask them to take a look. You want to make sure you do that step at the individual check-out. Call even if they said no the first time. Harvard Business Review published a study that showed 60% of the time the person says yes the second time asked, even when they said no the first time.
