• Siting’s Ambition – A Teacher I have an interest for teaching and I hope to inspire students who dislike studying to develop their interest for studying. I would like to be a mathematics teacher in specific because I have a passion for mathematics.

• Denise’s Ambition – A Dancer I have a passion for dance as it helps to express what I cannot express in words. Dance is to express not to impress. Dance helps to relieve stress as it requires concentration. Dance is an art of music.

• Dione’s Ambition – An Accountant

I have an interest for accounting and managing finances. As we think that, with better management of finance, we will be able to better help the society to account for their expenditures and revenues.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:

• A teacher or school teacher is a person who provides education for pupils and students. The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a school or other place of formal education.

• A dancer is one who performs dance and it is a type of art that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music, performed in many different cultures and used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.

• An accountant is a practitioner of accountancy, which is the measurement, disclosure or provision of assurance about financial information that helps managers, investors, tax authorities and others make decisions about allocating resources.

KNOWLEDGE:

[LOCAL] Kelvin Tan Wei Lian is a very good example of

someone who never gives up his dream even though he is visually impaired. He is a Singaporean singer who had worked as a street busker for a living before he took part in a singing competition in which he was crowned the overall Champion. His passion for singing did not fade when he was faced with challenges. His diligence and resiliency finally paid off when he was won the singing competition. He is now a well-known singer who inspires people. All this had been made possible as he had a goal in his mind and he work diligently towards his ambition.

CURRENT AFFAIRS

[GLOBAL] Thomas Edison is also another exemplary

example of resiliency. Edison developed hearing problems at an early age. The cause of his deafness has been attributed to a bout of scarlet fever during childhood and recurring untreated middle-ear infections. He was faced with many failures during the experiments for inventing the light bulb; however, due to his perseverance, he finally succeeded in inventing the light bulb.
