    COOKING / SPEAKERS STAGE

    One of the most popular activities at the Green Heart Fair happen in theCOOKING marquee with cooking demonstrations and interactive discussions

    with local experts. The marquee is an open and easily accessible 10x10 metre

    marquee with a stage, Siemens cooking station and lots of opportunities to

    make the area fun and engaging.

    the large marquee will include a stage and can incorporate further branding with banners,

    giveaways, competitions, offer product samples and games

    The day begins with an easy bike ride around the Green Heart Fair bike pathswith cyclists welcomed back to the Fair with a free breakfast. The Sports Zone is

    a fun and interactive area, busy all day with local residents getting active with

    hands on advice from the experts.

    STRICT SUSTAINABILITY GUIDELINES

    Green Heart Fair is a low impact event. We aim to minimise the environmental footprint of each and every event and we ask that yourespect and adopt our aims and values. We also actively measure our sustainability achievements including reductions in waste, water

    and energy consumptionthrough the Sustainable Events Management System. Due to the ethos of the Fair, priority will be given to the

    participants who best represent these environmental values and aspirations. CitySmart reserves the right to select participants

    accordingly.

    We require all vendors and stallholders to take steps to reduce the environmental impact of their attendance at the Green Heart Fair

    and to adopt sound packaging and waste minimisation policies, as detailed below:

    DO NOT bring the following items to the fair:

    plastic bags

    plastic plates, straws, knives, forks and spoons

    polystyrene cups, plates

    balloons

    We request:

    Rapidly biodegradable or recyclable materials for such items as cups, mugs, plates, cutlery, bags, etc.

    No plastic wrapping on products wherever possible

    Waste minimisation and appropriate management of any unavoidable waste during and after the event, including keeping your

    area tidy and free of litter.

    Please note: penalties will apply to vendors who do not comply with the above sustainability guidelines. Please contact us for advice if

    you are unsure.
