Our project

To implement principles and activities of green policy in FU, as well as raise ecological awareness among students during 2019-2022.

The project is suggested to provide new ways on improving the eco-friendliness of the Financial University by implementation green activities.

Goal

Inspiration

Our project is based on the concept of sustainable development. Sustainable development is defined as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generation to meet their own needs.

However, we have narrowed the scope of the project to the implementation of eco-friendliness. We have analyzed «green policies» of different universities and got these criteria:

The usage of the criteriaHaving applied the criteria we identified the extent of “green” activity of the Russian universities and drew a conclusion about the green policy situation in the Financial University.

We decided to start from several events which are able to improve the sustainability of the Financial University.

Universities in our country are not yet as advanced in the field of sustainable development as foreign ones.

We have identified the main criteria that must be followed in the process of implementation of the “green” principles.

We conducted an analysis and compared our university with the HSE and MIPT, taking into consideration the 4 criteria Since we consider our project as a long-term one, we certainly hope for its distribution further than just at the university level .

Conclusions
