Red Class Visit

On Thursday 17th October Red A and B class went on a little visit to Morrisons Supermarket. They learnt about where food comes from and tasted samples.

Harvest Festival

The whole school including the Rising 5’s performed for parents/carers in a harvest festival on Wednesday 23rd. They sang and showed their art work and gave thanks for the harvest we receive.The event was very well attended, thank you to all who came and those who donated food. This will be given to the older people who live in our community.

Year 5’s Residential

On Wednesday 23rd the weather was kind to the Year 5 children and staff as they travelled to Stratford to learn all about the history of the people and place. They returned on Friday and had a wonderful time.

The next day they had a great morning in Stratford despite the rain! They’ve visited Shakespeare’s school, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) theatre and then Holy Trinity Church where he was baptised and buried. A huge thank you to RSC who kindly let them eat lunch in the upper circle! A great gesture!

Halloween Film Night

Popcorn, hotdogs and juice were enjoyed during the evening. The children dressed up in scary costumes and had a spooktacular time. Parking

We are still having cars parking illegally on the zig zag yellow lines outside school and people driving and parking carelessly. Many of the older children walk independently to and from school and could be in danger if drivers are not being responsibly.
