Introduction

• GrantSolutions.gov is acomprehensive grants managementsystem provided by the GrantsCenter of Excellence (COE).

• Available to all Federal grant-makingagencies as part of the Grants

Management Line of Business(GMLoB) initiative.

• Grants.gov is another government-wide initiative, also managed by HHS

GrantSolutions provides certaincapabilities that are not currentlysupported by existing Grants.govfunctionality

GrantSolutions Capabilities

Grants Staff may direct funding opportunitiesand Non-Competing application kits tospecific grantee organizations

• Establishes a one-to-one relationship betweenthe grant record and the Grantee organization

Allows for the protection of grant-specificinformation and actions so that it is notaccessible to the general public and is onlyavailable to the Grantee

• Establishes a direct relationship with a Grantee

organization when it comes to creating andmanaging Post-Award Amendment actions• Grantees can actively manage their grant

portfolio with confidence that these actions areonly accessible by the Grantee

Obtain a User Account

• New Applicants may register for a useraccount by clicking the Register button onthe GrantSolutions.gov Login screen• A username and temporary password is

automatically assigned to the applicant

• Existing Grantees should complete theGrantSolutionsGrantee Account Request form• Email form to [email protected]

Fax to 1-301-231-7223, Attention:GrantSolutions Help Desk

• “Forgot your Username or Password?” link• Click the Account Management main menu

tab and then the Change Password sub-

menu link to change your existingassword.

User Profile & AccountManagement

•  The User Profile link is available afterlogin. It is displayed in the top rightcorner of the GrantSolutions Website.

Verify that your User Profile containscorrect information

•  The Account Management main menutab also has a link to your User Profile

•Select the Account Management menutab and then the Change Password sub-menu item to change your existingpassword.

 The Message Center

• Dual Notification: Messages sent via MessageCenter will also be sent via Email

• Grantees are notified via Message Center when

they have a Directed Supplement or Non-Competing Continuation application availableonline.

•  The Outbox shows the messages that you sent•  Tasks

 Tasks are Messages that have a Due Date associatedwith them.• Message Reminders are sent when Tasks are not

marked Complete.• A red exclamation point appears next to the Task

message when the Task message is marked as

urgent.

• GrantSolutions locks down a hash value

of the original file that was uploaded• A virus scan is performed on the

uploaded file

Apply link becomes an Edit link.• After submitting the Directed

Supplement, the Apply or Edit linkbecomes a View DS Application link.
