K of C 5073 Bingo ProjectMay 14, 2018

The Bingo Project requires six (6) new volunteers NOW!That means...YOU...YOU...and YOU!

No experience required. You will be slowly and gently trained. (At present, five of the present bingo volunteersare over 80 years young.)

The Bingo Project brings in $13,000 net a year for the local charities. It is the most consistent, yearly charityproject in this Council. At present, the three bingo events held by the Council are shown below.

*Tuesday“Midnight”

*Wednesday“Matinee”

**Thursday“Twilight”

Counting cards from: 8 p.m. 11 a.m. 2 p.m.

Selling the cardsfrom: 8:45 p.m. 11:45 a.m. 2:45 p.m.

Bingo Starts: 9:30 p.m. 12:30 p.m. 3:45 p.m.

Bingo Ends: 11:30 p.m.(approx.)

3 p.m. (approx.) 6 p.m. (approx.)

Group Leader: Frank Miele Luke Oko Paul Muller or FrankMiele

*Tuesday and Wednesday Bingos are held bi-weekly and alternate with each other.**Thursday Bingos are held only once a month.

The dates to cancel a bingo event (“6-month Bingos”) are April 1 and October 1.

If by this September this request does not happen, I, being the bingo project coordinator and reportingrepresentative, will consult with the present (approximately 14) bingo volunteers, in advising the Council 5073Grand Knight and recommending we take the first step of "effective January 2019 to cancel the Thursday bingoevent."

Also, since my backup reporting rep. has resigned from the Council, a new "backup" reporting rep. is urgentlyneeded. Again, full training will be provided by me. Finally, if the above requests do not take fruit, I, MarioColaianni, have no alternative but to resign from "all functions" of this project by June of 2019. The Grand Knightwill make the needed final decision.

If you need more information, feel free to contact me or the Grand Knight or any of the above-mentioned bingogroup leaders.
