Grammar Boot Camp
• Parts of Speech Challenge– Each group is responsible for one part
of speech (with a couple of exceptions– adverbs and interjections will be covered by the same group as they are not as in depth as the other parts of speech; nouns and pronouns may have been split into two sections based on how many groups each class has; due to the complexity of prepositions, I will be teaching those and we will have a separate preposition challenge)
Grammar Boot Camp
• Parts of Speech Challenge– You are to come up with a 15 minute

– You may also use the textbooks during your presentation as part of your activity.
– Presentations will be graded using the attached rubric.

• Parts of Speech Challenge– Groups only have today and Monday
to come up with their presentation. If you have information that you want displayed through the computer, you need to write it up on a sheet of paper. One of your group members will then need to type it up and/or create your PowerPoint at home. We will have laptops in the media center on Monday, but Monday should be spent finalizing and practicing… not creating!
