When we are writing it is important to use the correct “there/their/they’re”

• Their shows that something belongs to someone. Here are some examples:

• Their laptop was shiny and new.

• When they got home, their poodle was pleased to see them.

• After their lunch, they went out to play with their friends.

• There usually refers to a place. Here are some examples:

• There is a tree.

• Over there is an enormous elephant.

• There is short for they are and is easy to miss out when you are writing.

Here are some examples:
