Career History/Professional ExperienceBridgeall Libraries: Tester & Test Manager Jan 2012 to present

New functionality is developed for the following products on a 2-month rolling release basis:

CollectionHQ (cHQ) is Bridgeall Libraries’ main product, a world-leading SaaS solution which enables library authorities to apply best practice in Stock Management. cHQ uses Integrated Library System data to achieve this.

Evidence-based Selection Planning (ESP) is an additional product, linking a partner product, TitleSource360 (TS360), to cHQ via a REST API Web Service. This enables TS360 Users to use cHQ’s demand data as a decision making tool when selecting new stock for purchase.

I am embedded within Agile teams testing new development, bug fixes and enhancements:

Definition of Test cases and Test Scenarios from Use Cases Risk based approach to prioritise testing effort Analysis and identification of Test Data from Test Environments Generation of additional test data using imported Excel spreadsheets UI Testing: IE7 through to Edge, Firefox, Google Chrome and mobile/handheld devices Functional Testing: both structured and exploratory testing Utilisation of SQL and Excel for data import, analysis and verification REST Web Service testing: Google Advanced Rest Client Test Execution and documentation of results Analysis of test failures, liaising with developers to review, fix and retest

I am responsible for all aspects of testing the products, from project inception to software delivery.

Additionally, in my management role:

Creation and development of Test Processes, Test Infrastructure and Test Documentation Creation and development of company-wide document templates Creation of Test Plans, agreement of scope and schedules with internal and external parties Test Management throughout 2-weekly Agile Development Sprints, 2-monthly Product Releases,

Pre-Release Regression Testing, UAT, Integration Testing with partner systems and other ad-hoc testing as required

Development of internal Testing Wiki page - clearly documenting testing processes for all staff Management and support of test teams of between 1-6 staff: Test Team members vary

significantly in experience and background and new members are rapidly trained to a high standard, ensuring changes to Test Team resources do not impact release schedules

Management of Test Data within 4 geographically-representative Test Environments covering USA/Canada, Europe & Australia/New Zealand

Management of Virtual Test Environments to ensure support of all supported UI Platforms Selection, configuration and management of the Zephyr for JIRA Test Management system Development of initial Selenium Regression Test suite, managed delivery of replacement and

collaboration with developers to implement latest Selenium Regression Test Framework Collaboration with developers to implement internal test applications (e.g., Test Harnesses, Data

Import Mechanisms) Production of reports throughout the development lifecycle, with ad-hoc reports as required

My principal strengths throughout this time have been my organisational, communication and analytical skills which have been very effective in a very demanding and dynamic project environment.
