    Summary of February and May Meetings

    Discussed enrollment issues at Inman and other factors- Non-viability of original solution of adding eight classrooms- Proposed Druid Hills annexation

    APS administrators presented space recommendations, including anInman 14 classroom addition, an Inman 6th Grade campus and a

    Howard Junior High as solutions. Druid Hills annexation proposal did not pass the legislature.

    In April 2015, the Board set new attendance boundaries (beginningin 2017-2018 school year) for Centennial Place Academy for amiddle school.

    APS administrators presented the creation of Howard Middle School,Inman 9th Grade Academy and new APS athletic practice fields onformer Walden Middle School campus.

    Proposed Solutions

    Given community feedback and preferences, APSadministrators re-examined options for solutions.

    Current proposed solutions to address space and enrollmentin the Grady ClusterExpand Grady campus and address recommendations from the

    Facility Condition Assessment

    Create a Howard Middle School

    Build new APS athletic practice fields on former Walden Middle

    School campusConvert Inman campus into additional elementary capacity for

    the cluster

    o Maintain High Schoolconfiguration (grades 9-12)

    o Removal of portables

    o Green space reduction

    o Dependent on approval ofthe next SPLOSTReferendum by the voters

    Capacity: 1,725 FTE @ 25/1
