This year we celebrate the 8th Annual Graduate Medical Education Research & Quality Improvement Day in a unique and innovative new platform. We are grateful that during this pandemic we can still review the outstanding work of all the residents at AdventHealth through this website. We are glad you have taken the time to review this online content that our outstanding residents have created for all of us.us.

The mission of the Graduate Medical Education Research Department is to create a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment to stimulate and support high quality scholarly activities within our department. Our goal is to advance quality of care and patient related outcomes by providing residents and faculty with the resources, knowledge and infrastructure to plan and conduct transformative biomedical research. These research activities not only support the continued accreditation of our programs but help us produce clinicians with a lifelong interest in scientific inquiry and process improvement.

GME Research Day contributes to this goal by providing a forum for the Residency programs to come together and showcase the outstanding scholarly achievements that have been submitted and presented regionally and nationally over the past year.

Over the last eight years, our program has continued to grow which speaks to the volume of projects that the Residency programs are working on, to elevate patient care and outcomes.

Our hope is that as you virtually participate in this event, you will have the opportunity to review research abstracts and presentations and leave with an appreciation of the effort and knowledge that our Faculty, Residents, and Fellows contribute to AdventHealth’s mission and vision.
