    Good News

For I will never leave thee or

    forsake thee Hebrews 13: 5;b

Today we are here to proclaim

that life is a journey, not a des-tination and that we live in themidst of promise fulfilled. This

claim calls us to awareness thatwe are held accountable by theone who gives us life. The

promise reminds us that all weneed is freely given to us. This

is a journey, which often takesus through the wilderness, where we receive manna and

    water and discover what it

means to be the children ofGod. It is a journey we never

take alone, for we know thatthe One who made the promisewill keep faith. Hallelujah!

He came singing love. He lived

singing love. He died singinglove. He rose in silence. If thesong is to continue, we must do

the singing. In the name of theFather, and of The Son and ofthe Holy Spirit. Amen.

    in Family Life Center

Infant baptism is a ceremony where Christian parents commit to

prayerfully, actively, and intentionally raise their child in the ways

of Christ, desiring that the child will put his/her faith and trust in

Christ as Savior and Lord. In addition, it identifies the child with

the community of faith, acknowledging that God, in his grace, has

placed the child within the fellowship of the people of God.
