Our Situation Budget gaps are driving tough choices.

No shared community principles or values to guide

decisions ie., Whats Most Important to Us?

Gap of trust in the community.

Decisions made in silos.

Knowledge gap: who does what and when in local

government.

BUT we also have people who care, want to beinvolved and want to have a say in crafting the

Getting Real About the Bottom Line

We expect our elected officials to lead, but they need our help toguide important decisions.

Get Real 2011 is about the community using its voice because

its our responsibility.

If youve never gotten involved, nows the time. If youve been

involved and dont feel listened to, nows not the time to give up.

We dont know what will happen tomorrow, but we have to try and dothe best we can to make that tomorrow the best it can be

starting today.
