It is very hot today. My friend lives on a farm and there is asmall lake on it. We are going to visit him today so we can all swim in the lake. We can play with a ball and float about on the water. We have to be careful. His mum is here to watch us and make sure we are safe. The water is cold, but on a hot day that is great! I love to swim here it is so much fun.

Dolphins are very clever animals. They look like fish, but they are mammals. This means they have to come up and breathe air. This is

why they have a hole on the top of their head, this is their nose! They are very fast swimmers, and can jump out of the water. They eat small

fish, and only big sharks and killer whales can eat them. They sometimes help people when they are in trouble in the water. Did you
