  • Setting Up Your GPC Print Account You will need to obtain your departmental link from your department Budget Manager or your department secretary. This link is necessary to assign you to the correct department for orders to be approved by your department Budget Manager or designee. If there is not an approver assigned to your department, orders will not be processed. After clicking on your link, don't forget to bookmark the site or make a shortcut to your desktop for easy access.

  • Setting Up Your GPC Print Account Follow the instructions for setting up your email and password (this password does not change with GPC passwords). Complete the one-time personal data page as requested. Download the GPC Print Driver/Launch Web Helper (if it does not automatically ask you to download, go to the GPC Print main homepage and stroll down and click on GPC Print driver and follow instructions). Once you have completed these steps, the system will remember all your data and recognize you when you log in.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 1. Open your document to send. 2. Under the print menu, select GPC Print and print (leave print copies as 1). (Note: it is best to choose the GPC Print driver when you create a new document. As with any change with print drivers, reconfiguring your document from a previous printer, could potentially cause font substitution or word wrapping)

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 3. Your web browser will open, with the GPC Print login screen. 4. Login

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 5. Select Send a file request form.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 6. You must fill out title of document and every field that has a red asterisk. Please allow three (3) business days minimum (considered rush) for job delivery. Four (4) days and up is regular delivery. 7. Click the green Send button at the bottom of the page.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 9. This screen appears and also an email confirmation of the order sent.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 10. After the email has arrived, you have two options: Option 1: click on the link in the email and it will take you to the next screen or sign in page.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 11. You can view your order form for corrections. Click on the View/Add Proof tab to view proof.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 12. Option 2: If you are still in the GPC Online System, click on My Jobs tab (See below). Click on 1 Proofs.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 14. Click on View Proof. Your document is now a PDF, and will open in Acrobat. If everything is okay with the proof, click Accept (See above screen). If somethings wrong, click Reject. You MUST complete an action on the proof, or the print job will not be process and the files will be deleted in 48 hrs. 15. Problem with your Proof: If you are having a problem generating your PDF proof, usually these problems fall into one of three categories: Font Licensing Restrictions Missing Fonts Damaged Fonts Font Licensing Restrictions: Some fonts are licensed only for use on your computer. These fonts have special flags in them that prevent us from embedding them in a PDF. To fix this problem either use a different font or contact the font creator to get a version that allows embedding.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: 16. If you are still experiencing problems sending the file through, make sure you clear your browsers cache. In your internet browser, go to Tools, internet options and delete browsing history. This sometimes slows the system down. Also, if you have tried sending files several times, the system may need to be cleared. Go to the start button on your computer, under All Programs, click on LAUNCH! Web helper, and then click on the extension, LAUNCH! Web helper.

  • Sending Files Using The Online Ordering System: This error message will appear. Close out the error message.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: On the toolbar under Tools, clear transfer queue. Do not send old jobs waiting in queue. Under Log File, clear file. Exit out.

  • Sending Files Using the Online Ordering System: After you have accepted your order proof, an email will go to your budget manager, asking them to approve the order request. Your budget manager will view the proof, and can accept or deny the request. You will receive an email stating the print jobs approval or denial from your budget manager. You may want to double check with your budget manager if orders are not approved by the next day. Log out.

  • Important Notices: GPC Print Online Send a file request form is only for submitting completed ready to print files. To submit an order requiring design services, you must use a hard copy form (See http://www.gpc.edu/printingservices/printforms). http://www.gpc.edu/printingservices/printforms Copyrights: If you submit a copyrighted document online, include written permission from the copyright holder. Check your documents closely before sending them through. We will print what you send, errors and all. If we print it before we are notified of an error, your department will be charged.
