One benefit of using your
newsletter as a promotional
tool is that you can reuse con-
tent from other marketing
materials, such as press releas-

While your main goal of dis-
tributing a newsletter might be
to sell your product or service,
the key to a successful news-
letter is making it useful to
your readers.
A great way to add useful con-
tent to your newsletter is to
develop and write your own
articles, or include a calendar
of upcoming events or a spe-
cial offer that promotes a new
product.
You can also research articles
or find “filler” articles by ac-

You can write about a variety
of topics but try to keep your
articles short.
Much of the content you put in

Expert Talk : “Importance of Surveying in Civil Engineering”
On 30th August 2018, expert
lecture was organized for Se-
cond Year and Third Year
Civil Engineering students by
Mr. Dilip Ingale. There were
two important topics of the
lecture 1.“Prestressed Con-
crete Members as an Advanced
Construction Technique” and
2.“Importance of Surveying in
Civil Engineering”. About 85
students of Third Year and 61
students of Second Year at-
tended the program and gained
the knowledge and experience
shared by the subject expert.
In his expert lecture Mr. Dilip
Ingale elaborately discussed
about “Prestressed Concrete
Members as an Advanced Con-
struction Technique”, orga-
nized for Third Year students,
the basics of Prestressed con-
crete members, their signifi-
cance, application and their
comparison with several other
advanced construction tech-
niques were focused by giving
several day to day practical
examples along with recent
videos and powerpoint presen-
tation. He also focused on
“Importance of Surveying in
Civil Engineering”, in that he
explained the basic elements
of surveying, types of surveying
and finally the importance of
surveying to Civil Engineers. In
this discussion the expert has
given several day to day prac-
tical examples along with re-
cent videos and power point
presentation. Finally, these
expert lectures proved to be

Will Private Tuitions Really help student ?
P A G E 5 V O L U M E 1 , I S S U E 1
Recent trend among students is to
join private tuition classes, But my
view is that unless students attend
theory and practical in the institute
and after that they should do
brainstorming only then they will
understand the basic concepts in
technology. This is the correct way
to manage studies by themselves,
Students need not to follow the
trend of joining any Private Tui-
tions! This will not help you to
enhance your cognitive skills. By
attending private tuitions students
will loose self confidence and will
unfortunately struggle a lot in the
future. As per my opinion tuitions
are short term remedies for study
and it is a spoon feeding technique.
But, it should also be taken into
consideration that sometimes when
you're stuck, a strong guidance
might help you too! So in that case
you shouldn't hesitate to ask for
academic support! You just need to
know when you really „need' it!
I feel that private tuitions have
more of negative impact on aca-
demic performance. Around 70% to
80% of students join tuitions just
because others are joining. Tuitions
are beneficial only for students who
devote enough time for self study.
There is NO substitution for self study.
I have seen our students spending 7 hours in college and 2
to 3 hours in tuitions. And when I ask them some basic
questions on the topic, Most of them are blank. They do
not practice extra questions at home. It's better to focus on
school teaching (at least when you are sure that teacher is
giving his or her best, is understandable and is covering all
the topics) When I communicate students‟ poor perfor-
mance to their parents, their usual answer is “tuitions sud-
dha lavle ahet sir” (we are even spending on his or her tui-
tion) . I really feel unpleasant at the ignorance level of the
parents. Tuition is just for guidance. It's how you take it. If
you join it because of trend and everyone else is joining it
means you are just wasting your time and money. After all
