    1. The minimum order is $25 (excluding taxes & delivery charges). An additional $5 will be charged for all orders under $40.2. Delivery charges range from $4.00 to $14.00 depending on location.3. Delivery time typically range from 45-90 minutes depending on call volume. Upon placing an order, customers will be notified of the estimateddelivery time.4. Combining of orders from different restaurants is not permitted. If a customer wishes to place an order from a different restaurant, it will be treatedas a new order. Orders placed will be immediately conveyed to the restaurant and CANNOT BE CANCELLED.5. Where a restaurant charges service charges and/or taxes, this amount will be added to the menu price.6. We accept payment by Cash, Visa & MasterCard. Credit card payments will be made upon placing the order. Cash payments will be collected upondelivery.7. Under no circumstances including but not limited to negligence shall Gourmet To Go LLP be liable for any special or consequential damages thatresult from the use of Gourmet To Go delivery service.

    Understanding What You Pay For

    Gourmet To Go believes in being transparent with all our people out there on the charges incurred when you order from our delivery service. Thebreakdown is shown below:

    Menu Prices: These prices are fully reflective of the prices that the restaurants provide us for their delivery menu. These prices can be either lower, thesame or higher than what they charge in the restaurant itself; this is fully dependent on the restaurants wishes and we exercise no controlwhatsoever over their pricing policy. In addition, these prices are nett prices; that means that there are no hidden charges in these prices; any extracharges are fully reflected below as described

    Delivery Charge: The delivery charge covers the cost of our riders and depends on the distance. Please read our Delivery Charge Methodology to findout more.

    Survival Charge: We are going to be honest and up front by stating that the margins we are making on this service is very low. The only way we cansustain this service in the long run is by adding a 10% survival charge that would help cover the cost of running our delivery operations. If the volumeon our delivery service is high enough one day, this is a charge we are most happy to lower or even completely eliminate, so that we can pass our costsavings (with economies of scale) over to you.

    We hope that the above breakdown will shed light on what you are paying for when you order our delivery service. We will be constantly sourcing formore restaurants (especially restaurants that provide good food at affordable prices) that would enhance your food delivery experience while loweringthe price you pay for it on your end. And as promised above, we will definitely pass our cost savings to you once we hit a critical volume that wouldallow us to do so.

  • Delivery Charge Methodology

    The Singapore postal system is broken into different sectors based on the first two letters of the postal code.e.g.46 Pagoda StreetSingapore 05920505 is the sector.The delivery charge is based upon how far your delivery location is from the restaurant. You may use our website www.GourmetToGo.com/delivery tocalculate the delivery charge or call us when placing your order and we will advise you on the delivery charge.We use a reference point (usually the middle point) in your postal sector as your location and calculate the linear distance (not driving distance)between the restaurant and this reference point. This calculated distance is the basis of your delivery charge.We group the distance between how far you are from the restaurant into 5 Zones. * Zone 1: You are less than 3.2 km (linear distance) away from the restaurant * Zone 2: You are between 3.2 km and 6.4 km (linear distance) from the restaurant * Zone 3: You are between 6.4 km and 9.6 km (linear distance) from the restaurant * Zone 4: You are between 9.6 km and 12.8 km (linear distance) from the restaurant * Zone 5: You are greater than 12.8 km (linear distance) from the restaurant

    The delivery charges are: * $4.00 for Zone 1 * $6.00 for Zone 2 * $8.00 for Zone 3 * $10.00 for Zone 4 * $14.00 for Zone 5
