------ Original MessageSubject: RE: 2 questionsFrom: Whitney Cheshire To: 'Rick Abraham' CC: 'Ryan Cangiolosi' Rick, I am sorry that your point of view prevents you from behaving rationally at this point. There are too many inaccuracies listed in your email for me to mess with right now but needlessto say, if you ever threaten a member of my staff again, either verbally or physically, we won'tjust threaten to call the police, we will in fact file a criminal complaint against you. I wouldsuggest, however, that for the next few days, you and ALL PARTIES WHO HAVE BEENINVOLVED IN VERBAL ALTERCATIONS take a deep breath and back off. We are tired ofbeing abused by you and the staff on other campaigns and remind you that all of those attacksoccurred in public as well. While the call reads that there are no refunds for pre-convention registration, that assumes thatthe person was unable to attend based on their own issues as opposed to being turned away byyour organization's failure to accommodate them.I will refer all calls for refunds directly to you until we decide how we will proceed.Whitney-----Original Message---From: Rick Abraham [mailto:[email protected]]Sent: Tuesday, February 23, 2010 11 :59 AMTo: Whitney Cheshire; [email protected]: 'Ryan Cangiolosi'Subject: Re: 2 questionsWhitney:You are not in position to demand anything. There are no refunds which were clearly stated inthe call, online and verbally. My volunteers and I remained in the lobby until every personchecked in even when it cost us our own vote casting. A two hour wait was not uncommon atany convention in the state. Our registration rate was 7 sec/person whereas the other countiesexperienced 36 sec/person. I told you that there would be special cases even if theypreregistered because of new voter registrations or we were unable to verify them.As far as the preregistrations your staff turned in, you failed to put them into a spreadsheet asrequested. My volunteers worked late into the night trying to input all of the candidatessupporters, but your submission was by far the worse. We did the best we could do in theamount of time given. In fact, I personally let you submit additional people after closing hours. It was obviously unappreciated. My officers were available to help process these problemregistrations when they showed up at the convention. Your candidate physically attacked oneof my staff members in front of many witnesses and others, including myself, received verbalattacks from your staff. If your supporters left because they didn't want to wait, you should have set their expectationsproperly. You failed to do so.

Now, about another serious issue; My volunteers, staff and/or officers are tired of your "bully k'style" tactics. We will no longer tolerate anymore verbal or physical abuse by your campaign orcandidate and we will notify the authorities if this abuse continues occur. Diego Espinoza is nolonger welcomed at the County Party office headquarters as you found out last night. You will get any information I am REQUIRED TO give you when I am REQUIRED TO give it.I have been fair, tolerant and accomodating to you and your staff and have been treated poorlyand abusively. Since you are not big enough to apologize and want confrontation with me, I amgoing to do ONLY what I am required to do for you, nothing more!

As far as your allegations that I singled out Weh supporters, you obviously didn' t talk to theother campaigns. Every campaign experienced the same issues you have. The difference ishow they handled it.Whitney, I advise you, your staff and candidate to exercise better manners and respect myofficers, staff and volunteers. You could accomplish much more with better attitudes.Consequently, if you dont, you will hurt your candidate, other candidates and the party as well.My obligations are not to you but to the 125,000 Republicans in my county. It is myunderstanding from the people I represent that we are of tired of the same old representation.Regards,Rick Abraham
