The second generation Helios LED light engine
replaces the LED driver with an integrated circuit (IC),
which powers the latest generation of mid- or high-
power LEDs, improving light output, reducing cost and
improving reliability.
The absence of an external driver, in addition to the
MCPCB material that is thermally optimised so smaller
heatsinks can be used, increases flexibility in lamp and
luminaire design.

Higher quality, brighter light for longerCrystalCool™ dramatically reduces the temperature at the junction point and dissipates heat 300% faster when compared to a standard MCPCB. This allows our products to deliver a higher quality, brighter light for longer.
CompositionCrystalCool™ thermal management dissipates heat away from the LED chip. 150 layers of decreasingly dense, ceramic nano layers are formed onto the aluminium MCPCB for maximum conductivity and coated with a radiative carbon coating.

Life of LED: L70LED lamps reach their end of life at 70% light output and should be replaced. A lamp with effective thermal management will maintain its brightness, colour temperature, use energy more efficiently and last longer.
Identifying the issue - high temperaturesHigher temperature environments can accelerate the degradation of LED. Colour shifting, decreased lifetime and depreciated lumen output are all side effects of excessive temperatures at the point where the LEDs are soldered to the MCPCB.

Controlled, Even Light DistributionLEDchroic™ lenses mimic halogen appearance and offer controlled, even light distribution with minimal glare and light loss.
Patented Optical DesignDensely distributed convex facets combined with the ratio between the height and diameter of the lens enables production of extremely shallow lenses.
Integrating this technology into luminaires allows for reduced height luminaires suitable for shallow ceiling voids.
True short-form GU10 lamps with beam angles between 25° and 60° are direct replacements for their halogen equivalents with maximum luminaire compatibility.
Enhanced light utilisation efficiency greatly improves the colour rendering index and reduces light loss by 50% when compared to competitors lenses.
