Optional extras

The Provisioning API is a RESTful API, over HTTP. It is designed to be highly robust, scalable, and yet very easy to integrate. The core capabilities it provides are the activation of the service, and the identification of key elements such as the source website and the target domain.

The Configuration API is an optional extra with goMobi 1.1. It permits programmatic access to the platform to set preferences for site configuration.

The goMobi Setup Assistant is a white branded control panel, hosted by dotMobi, which can be integrated by the channel partner into their customer interface. The channel partner can set it up to use their own styling (CSS) to ensure a good fit with the rest of their offering.

DeviceAware is a high performance mobile switcher which identifies inbound traffic on mobile devices, to permit redirection to goMobi sites at a hosting level rather than at the site level. It is deployed in the hosting environment. The benefit is that no intervention is needed on the desktop website to redirect mobile traffic to the goMobi site, thus ensuring the best end user experience without extra steps needed by the business owner.
